cant figure out what color to paint my RT....
Electric blue mica plus white diamond (white with silver pearl - stripes * My stripes are just white w/o the silver pearl. The blue is single stage but has a metalic pearl glow in the blue- HP

Has anyone run into Water Based Paints being used yet?
Tom, a few months back at the Sherman-Williams auto paint store, the salesman showed me a fullface mask with Isocyante rated filters. My need to paint is sporatic - so I don't always keep up with the latest stuff, but it was the first time I can recall a mask rated for urethanes. Plus the...- HP

3.73 gear ratio GEN1
With 19" wheels it should be ok. I have 3.55, and after adding the larger wheels I miss the lower gearing.- HP

Hood adjustment expert needed.
Another thing, don't go messing with the release cable adjusters - without reason. If you get the adjusters too tight - the latch(s) won't catch or won't catch tight enough to hold that side under movement.- HP

another possibility is that the bumper stop was too high - and that side never latched.- HP

Paint is finally going on......
I was at the Sherwin-Williams Auto paint store picking up some paint, and got to talking about spraying urethane paint. The paint guy showed me a full face shield mask with cartridge filters that was rated for isocyanates. It's been awhile since I've painted, so I had to look twice at...- HP

McViper came home on a Mcwrecker last night :(
When you have a threaded joint that won't budge with normal torque - spray WD-40 or penetrating lube on it and use a heat gun on the area. You may have to do this a few times. The heat will usually open the joint enough to allow the oil in.- HP

Diamondback hood pics on a GTS finally!!!
Lauri's car was the first - and it set a standard for most of the cars that followed. It was my desktop for a long time, and I still have pics of his car. It sold me on the hood and the Autoform Lemans fascia. So I guess it's ok for me to steal the mesh idea too. Isn't that aluminum gutter...- HP
