I've plugged my Battery Tender into the "cigarette lighter" port under the center arm rest for 19 years on my '06.... Always worked perfectly as the receptacle is hot all the time (vs most newer vehicles where it times out)...

Greetings,
Original owner of 2006 Coupe, I should know this (LOL) but while I see the marked "+" jump post on the fuse box under the hood, where is a close ground for jump starting? I have a few NOCO Lithium jump packs and keep one in the Viper, however the cables are short and I don't...
I have experience with both processes and with both companies. I had my 2006 Viper 5-spoke wheels chromed (traditional process) in 2011 by California. I shipped from the East Coast to the West Coast because of their reputation. After 4 years, all 4 wheels are perfect, PERFECT. No problems...
Hi Mark, in your experience how does the Gen5 with Belanger headers, cat back and Arrow PCM compare HP/Torque to a 2006 Gen 3 with Paxton, Corsa, and 1 pair of cats?
thanks
John
Much better, had a green light on the charger this morning indicating full charge. Appears (on my car at least) that the actual cigarette lighter is not hot all the time and the car would not charge through it. Switching to the outlet inside the console did the trick. thanks.
Thanks!! LOL, I never even noticed that there was an outlet ..inside.. the console, but than again, I've only had this 2006 car since new. ;) I'll give it a day and see what happens. thanks guys...
Greetings, Can a Gen3 Viper Be maintained with Battery Tender Through Cigarette Lighter, or does that circuit cut off after a few minutes once the key is removed like the interior lights above the mirror? thanks
I need to detail the engine compartment of my '06, I was going to use a few different size paint brushes and some warm soapy water to get into the hard to reach areas to start. Is there any spray product to works well after the majority of dirt is gone that will leave a nice finish? thanks
