Adjusting the door on a GTS - Photos and what I did
I just did this yesterday as well. Adjusted the passenger door. Took 3 attempts and now all is good. Worked perfectly. :headbang:- K930

Informal meetings??
Before I bought the Viper and owned an "ahem" Porsche a bunch of us used to meet up every Saturday morning spring through to fall. Usually it went from about 10:00 a.m. until noon or so. Just an excuse to get the cars out and talk with other gearheads. Very informal, come and go as you...- K930

Winter Improvements
Nothing major. -Billet power steering pulley and bracket -Changed all the fluids -New rear speakers Still need new front tires, front and rear sway bar links, and will likely replace the brakes.- K930

Sorry, another speaker upgrade thread
HUGE difference in sound. I replaced the factory deck with a Kenwood unit, and removed the factory amplifier. Both rears were blown entirely. I still have the original fronts, but will likely replace with the Kicker speakers. From what I've found on here, a 6" (not 6.5") is a direct fit for...- K930

Sorry, another speaker upgrade thread
I believe the 6" Kicker KS62 is a direct fit for the front. I just replaced the blown factory rears with 6 1/2" Infinity REF-6502IX units. Perfect fit.- K930

Just flushed the brakes on my GTS using a Motive Products Power Bleeder. Dead simple. Worked fantastic. Truly a one man job with no mess. :headbang: Well worth the investment.- K930

Need advice on this 1999 GTS please
Keep looking. I picked up a 2000 Steel Grey GTS last summer for $35K. 31,000 miles. Mint condition and all original (well....not the tires). Bought from the second owner. He brought it up from Texas. It was his garage queen, and he couldn't justify keeping it anymore as he hardly drove...- K930

How long until you until comfortable with your GTS
Picked up my 2000 GTS last August, and I felt exactly the same. The previous owner's nugget of wisdom was "if it's dry and the front wheels are pointed straight, you're good to go.....if they're not or it's wet, beeeee careful!". :D- K930
