Gen V wheels on a Gen II RT / GTS: anyone photoshop this?
The Gen V front wheels are 18 x 10.5 as opposed to 18 x 10. The width of the tire jumps from 275 to 295. What are the odds the Gen V wheels simply bolt up to the GTS? Many people put 19 x 13 with 345 width tires on the GTS. The new car is 19 x 13 with a 355. Fairly good chance that will fit...- mit

Stripes??
I'd go for an exposed carbon fiber stripe on a red or yellow car but I'd probably stay monotone if that doesn't end up being an option. The new car does look a little more Euro so striping isn't as essential as with the earlier cars. My GTS doesn't have a stripe either but mine is Saphire Blue...- mit

Wheel pics from the Gala
18 x 10.5 up front and 19 x 13 rear. It's on the drivesrt web site under specs. 295 and 355 widths. I have HREs 19 x 10 and 19 x 13. Conceivably I could use them on the new car although what are the odds the offsets still work?- mit

Gen V Debut Compared to the Gen III Debut ?
Disclaimer: I am a GTS or Gen II owner and I was definitely classified as a hater on the Gen III when it was revealed. I'm going to buy a Gen V. In a lot of ways the return to the GTS styling at least in my opinion validates what I was saying in January of 2001 when they debuted the Gen III...- mit

Recommendations on new tires anyone?...
I just had Super Sports put on my GTS on Thursday. It's like I got a new car. 345/30/19 in the rear and 275/30/19 in the front. The treadwear is 300. My old tires passed the quarter test but I guess they had been heat cycled too many times. They were PS2's. Absolutely no comparison. I buy...- mit

hre 546s wheels
I have a set of 546's on my Saphire GTS. My rims are the regular aluminum color. Pictures for whatever reason do not do justice to how bad ass those rims are on the cars. They are also lighter even in 19's and it's noticeable driving. If you are having any thoughts and like black, I would do it.- mit

harmonic balancer / crank problem
Chris from ART diagnosed a squeaking belt as a crank separating from the harmonic balancer. The bolt was barely holding the pulley to the crank and after tightening there is still significant fore and aft movement of the pulley. He thinks I need a new crank which means major surgery. Before...- mit
