Love them both. I used to own corvettes, now just proud owner of RT10, which I think is the sexiest roadster on the road. I agree about the lights of the vette. What routine maintenance is due on my 99 RT/10?
All fluids, plug wires, plugs. Change the TIRES, huge difference in traction, I have a 94 that i changed tires on, they stick when cornering, the old ones looked good but when pushed they had no traction.- moeviper

Stereo upgrade, speakers...
2.5 months after the polk audio install, still great sound. Best thing I did sound wise, I am enjoying it, thinking about the JL audio 12 inch subwoofer, if anyone has installed it, please let me know what kind of amp you used? A single 8 ohm JL audio will need a lot of power to drive it...- moeviper

Another Celebrity Viper For Sale

Need new STREET tires. Blah... Question...
Michelin PS2s are almost the only choices, I got mine at discount tires locally. I payed around 1700 for all four which is not too bad at all. BFG got bought out by Michelin and they are discontinuing the BF for Vipers, I was mad because they were good and 400 cheaper. ****ing French company.- moeviper

I need a better radio
Pedro, I got a Pioneer w Ipod. Upgraded the door speakers with POLK audio components (DB6501). I left the stock amps, stock wires, stock rear speakers. It sounds a lot better. Anyone drop MB Quarts 6.5 in their Gen II GTS?
Why is it a mistake to replace the subs with coax? I am/was considering that, i replaced my door speakers with polk audio and new pioneer head, factory amp, sounds great.- moeviper

Help with Door Speakers
I replaced my factory speakers with Polk audio component speakers. No issues with fittings. I listened to the MB Qs but thought there was not enough bass, just treble so i did not choose them. I agree with GTSnake, there is no need to change factory speaker wires if they are fine. The housing for the wires are so tight that you will have a challenge fitting them through because aftermaket wires are usually thicker. The factory amps are doing great with the Polk DB6501 component...- moeviper
