    z06 is a handfull with 08 vert

Yeah but that like saying "who cares about speed, at least I'm more rare". Then again it appears many on the Z06 forum as well as here only care about image. That said both are great cars.:2tu:

Viper vs. Z06 1/4 mile time question

No need, I can separate true enthusiasts from the trolls. Sadly every car that has a following has them no doubt .:rolaugh:

    08 prices really dropping

I planned to drive 4hours to look at a low mile '06 coupe for $54K, but will now hold out until the Summer as I may be able to pick up an '08 for a little more which would be twice the car.

    Supercharged Viper & 2009 Z06 Track Results

The trap speed for ACR Viper seems low considering it has ported heads, cam, and exhaust considering it's putting 650RWHP to the ground. Hell a stock ZR1 traps at 131mph and the modded ACR is making much more power.

06 Headers, HF Cats, Exhaust & tune.

Nice gain, so what's that roughly at the crank?

Stupid question but, what is two pieces brake rotors?

Drilled or slotted rotors decrease the surface area so by having both on the same rotr manufacturers believe it will decrease the surface area too much (less contact patch) and actually increase stopping distance. That said I have seen people drill their slotted rotors.

Is the '06 THAT different from the '08 in overall feel?

 Well I may wait and see how much more the market will drop come early next year. To be honest the '08 would be the way to go for me, I do not plan to do heavy mods (turbos, blower) but currently the '08's are out of $$$ range I'm willing to spend since I'm building a new house soon.

They are few and far between at that price, hell most are still trying to get $80K+ for a low mile '08.

Point is you can always ADD power, I was curious about the suspension, rear, etc of the cars. Of course everyone would say "Get the '08" because of the horsepower advantage if I wouldn't have stated otherwise.
