    That was my understanding as well, but I had the car in the shop for a new AC condensor, so I went ahead with the recall at the same time.

    Don't remember the name, but you can ask to speak with a viper tech, it just may take a few minutes to pull him off a job. It was the initial recall.

    I used Royal Gate for the recall last month on my 98 GTS. They didn't leave me very confident when speaking with service writers, but I spoke with one of the Viper techs who gave me a reasonable level of comfort, so I went ahead with it rather than trailer to Roanoke.

    I looked at the car last year at toy barn. He's been sitting on the car a while. The car had the usual scratches at the sports bar and one scratch near the rear driver side IIRC. Other than that it was absolutely beautiful in the color combo.

    Stretch pointed me in the right direction. They were super easy to work with and easy to get on the phone too. I am also not a civilian with no qualifying family. I paid to join their union and will use them on any and all future purchases.
