Front end suspension clunking problem solved!

That's funny. I certainly did read your post and that's what I told the mechanic last week "It's probably the upper control arm bushings", I said. Once he poked around, he saw the loose pivot bar and it was all academic from there. Thanks for your original post! Santo

Front end suspension clunking problem solved!

For the last couple of years, when reversing out of the driveway, I'd hear a single definitive "clunk" in the front end and then when moving forward from reverse, I would hear that "clunk" again. I couldn't figure out what it was and it was stopping me from even attempting to get the car on a...

    Haungens June 20th

Looks I may have to show up on the 27th just to defend my honour. You miss a couple of events and everyone thinks you are making up stories. How about the fact that this is my second year as a member of the VCA and I haven't been to one event yet? That can't look too good either, I guess ;-)...

    Haugens June 20th

Well, it was my first time tonight and it was pretty cool! There was a yellow GTS ACR there but I didn't get a chance to meet the owner because I wasn't sure who it was. What are the odds of two yellow Vipers at an event like this? :-) It was too bad I couldn't meet some of you there. We...

Proof Red Viper's are the sexiest car on the road (MUST READ)

I was stopped at a stop light of a four way intersection with traffic lights. To my left, traffic was coming and one guy was looking at my car as he proceeded toward the intersection. I was going to make a left-hand turn so I was looking in that direction and noticed him. The light must have...

While my front facia is off...

Just yesterday I had my fascia off. I checked the coolant and since it was very low and disgustingly dirty, I removed the bottle and washed it so that I could see how much coolant is in there now :-) Santo

    haugens June 6th

I first got the email notification (with your quote) on my phone with no picture. Read that again and consider not seeing the picture. I didn't know what to make of it :-) I deserve the jokes. I am not even going to say I'm going anywhere until the day before cause things just haven't worked...

McViper came home on a Mcwrecker last night :(

I've had issues with the braided oil cooler lines. They rub together and get frayed after a while. When this happens, one of the metal ends punctures the other line and you have a leak. I had oil cooler lines made up that were double walled (braid within a braid). Not sure if it will help...
