94 Viper won\'t start!!! Hi all, a friend of mine is having a problem with his 94 R/T..parked it last week now it will not start.it cranks but no fuel..we have checked relays etc,and when I jumper the rear relay in the trunk the fuel pump comes on,and the car will start and run tried new relays...- Scott E. 1993 Intake and NX Express??
Oh and I run the 200 shot, colder plugs are a must and an upgraded cooling system is recomended.but I've sprayed for two years now with no problem.- Scott E. Smith

Had the same question myself....ended up finding the fuel pressure port is on the drivers side runner in the very rear behind the map sensor. Hi all, long story short found the recent problem with my viper to be a cracked upper intake runner.I currently have the early style (4 ribs on each runner)intake. that's the million dollar question. as far as I know it's stock. I've had the car 6 years and bought it from the original owner. maybe some moisture in the fuel system? it did get in the low single digits here for a while.well I e-mailed Jon b at parts rack...he's helped out alot in the past.my...- Scott E. Sorry Vic.....you were correct!!! and thanks to all who chimed in...any insight helped..it was tough to locate.as for tig welding it....the manifold would have to be cut open just to get to it,it's inside the runner at the very rear.so I'm trying to locate a used one.pluse if it let go in one...- Scott E. Well some of you have been trying to help with my 94 R/T not running right.....turns out it has a crack in the driver side runner spraying fuel everywhere and right down the throat of cyl # 10 how? why? who knows!!!!! obviously unrepairable ....so does anyone have a stock intake they would like...- Scott E. Viper not running well...
Ok new find.....removed smooth tubes etc. looked into runners for possible blockage...found raw gas pooling up in the drivers side runner(feeds passenger head)ok this explains the fouling only on pass side...but where did it come from????? I mean there's alot of gas in there!!!- Scott E. Smith

Viper not running well...
well still no luck.....battery cheecked out ok. started and let run again,once again passenger side plugs fouled, #10 was the worst. driver side plugs still looked new.may have to take it to the dealer..a drb scantool would be the next step I guess.something weird going on here.- Scott E. Smith

Viper not running well...
Ok thanks for all the input thus far....plenty for me to check today....question about the battery, is it possible for it to be able to crank the engine etc and still have aproblem that may cause my scenario? because it did have to be recharged a month ago when it died for no appearant...- Scott E. Viper not running well...
ok this is strange....pulled all the plugs again, passenger side plugs are much more fouled than drivers side,even still a little wet with gas.drivers side not nearly as bad.- Scott E. Smith

Viper not running well...
it has only been sitting for about a month,ran fine last month.wires about one year old (msd) it also has the Roe Racing VEC1 coil packs are roughly two years old, battery is new, air filters are clean.just pulled the plugs again...very black and sooty, all the same.maybe TPS? or coolant temp...- Scott E. Viper not running well...
Ok here's the scene....took the Viper out last night ( 94 r/t) Iimmediately noticed it was runnung roug from 1-3k rpm brought it back home..next morning checking it out...would not start hat to go WOT to get it to start...running very rich, plugs appeared fouled ..replaced them ..same...- Scott E. Thinking of changing color on my Viper
thanks matt....that may be a good idea!!!!! so far were on 5 coats of clear multiple wet sandings.....then the graphics this weekend....then some more sanding and 2 more coats of clear,should look like a deep mirror when finished! and yes it was completely torn apart to paint!it's the only way...- Scott E.
