After a couple of year hiatus, I'm back in the Viper community. Thanks Andy! I bought his '01 ACR.
I'm looking for a set of used 18" rims for the track and a line on any slightly used R-compound tires. Please message me if you have any you're looking to sell.
I have heard that the assembly on the Gen1 is much harder than the Gen2, making the cut more of a pain. JonB should sell the brake relocation parts for DBB kit.
If you are just looking for some added bling, Tom sells a pair of caliper covers in matching colors that may do the job cheaply.
Nicely flat torque curve. Did you tune the car or run it with a stock tune? The A/F looks very lean to me. Just under 13 is the target for best HP. By way of reference, my Gen1 just put down 440RWHP with heads/CAM and fully stock exhaust and a conservative timing tune. Prior to my last...
Here is what I did for a complete setup on my '95. Yours should be the same. You could pick pieces of the process you want. I went this route because I wanted to keep everything in the stock locations and not consume my trunk with AMP and SUB. It doesn't have the punch of a large sub system...

The hard top has been sold. Thanks for asking.
I've got several take off parts from my Gen1 that I'm selling separate from the car. I've got the car listed in the VCA classifieds. I just lowered the price on the car, as I'd to sell it before I relocate.
PM me if you're interested in any of the following parts
- 65MM Gen1 Throttle Bodies...
If you are staying with 17" rims, get Tom's rear upgrade and stay with it. You'll probably not need any more rear braking than that offers.
If you are going with 18" or larger rims, get the SRT front conversion. It is by far the best option for your money, especially on a non-ABS car. I did...
Shoot me a PM. I've got the setup you are talking about on my '95. It's got all the goodies and heads/CAM/intake by Greg. I've also got a set of Edelbrock headers and 65MM Accufabs that I'm selling.
My Gen1 had the following mods and achieved 480RWHP. I'd be surprised to see a Gen1 with a 708 CAM and stock compression get past 500RWHP. At 9.0:1, the Gen1 ratio isn't very high by HP per L standards.
GG heads - stock compression. 305CFM intake flow
1.7 RR
708 CAM
Ported Intake
65MM TB's...
The best bang for the buck is to go SRT front and Tom's upgrade in the rear. If you want a similar look, you can get a caliper cover from him in matching color to the front SRT calipers. It's not the full on bling factor, but you can be in for a brake setup that will perform as good as almost...
