K&N intake - is it better than stock?
Indeed. Plus nothing beats the ear to ear grin after they drive their car especially if its an automatic. There is so much you can do with the auto trans function it can quite literally feel like a different vehicle !- tmcphail

Yes then we agree. As for any other speed shop doing that sort of thing hell I have been doing that for years in the Ford community. Yes you can. If you are stating that the actual results at 100mph will produce higher gains then sitting still on a dyno then I agree with that.- tmcphail

I disagree with that. I spend my life building HP wide band dyno tuning Ford's so I know quite a bit about this. Obviously datalogging all sensors to keep as much consistency as one can you do the following : Initial pull Make the part change and pull it again Remove X part and pull it again...- tmcphail

K&N G3 = 14hp+ ???
I gained a peak 10rwhp at high RPM with it opposed to stock back to back. It started to make more pwer above 3000rpm and continued to gain with RPM.- tmcphail

Ran into a 06 Z06 today
Its not an issue of need here. Look at my signature and see what my car puts down off the hose and thats only with 3 mods and me tuning it myself.
