    The ZR1 may better the ACR slightly in 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile partly because it will launch better with it's active suspension system (it will squat at launch... therefore less wheel hop) and power/weight, BUT, with the unfavorable weight distribution (nose heavy 52/48) the ACR will kick its butt...

    Poly mounts and excess engine vibration

    I have the same motor and tranny mounts and no vibration here. Of course, the whole car now rocks back and forth at idle ('97 GTS) instead of the engine but I like it and it made a significant difference at the track.

    I wonder what the down force is at a more common cornering speed of about 80mph. Tom Sessions mentioned to me that they were going to have to alter all the classifications at Viper Days due to the 2008's but he didn't mention the ACR. The previous ACR didn't have its own class but the new one...

    I would be surprised if headers and exhaust will produce more than about 30 hp... it looks like that's about what JH got also. I don't know how MOPAR got 675 but it had to be more than the above. Did they change the compression ratio or did lighter pistons, etc. lead to higher redline and...

    Has this engine been tested yet (SAE) officially like the Gen 3 was when it was rated at 510 instead of 500 hp (factory claim)? I do not think it is a stretch, in that context, to think these engines are putting out 620 instead of 600 claimed hp. Most manufacturers these days underrate them...
