Looking for pictures of Gen II GTS Vipers with 355/25/19\'s or 345/30/19\'s

I just purchased some 18" front and 19" rear HRE wheels and do not know what size tires to get. I did some "searches" and found a little information but I would like to see some Vipers with some different size tires.

I want to use the biggest size tires possible in the rear, either 345/30/19 or a 355/25/19. I do not know what sizes will look good in the rear, but I want to have a decent size side wall to protect the rim. My Viper is lowered with Eibach lowering springs and I am also concerned about any possible scraping inside the fender well.

I would like to ask anyone who has these size rims and tires to please post some pictures of your Viper from the side and from the rear. Please specify what tire sizes you are running front and rear.

:usa: Thanks for the help once again. :usa:

275/30/19s up front. I went with the 355/25s in the rear to get a slightly lower profile tire, so as not to add to the already tall gearing on the car.

DrDJ, How do you like the spring lowering caps? Did you get before and after measurements? Do you know if you can use these plus lowering springs? Thanks, you're the first person I've seen post who's actually installed these.

The "business portion" (distance between the perch for the coil spring and the perch for the top portion of the shock absorber) of the NWE spring cap measures 5/32". For the OEM spring cap it is 1/2", for a difference is 11/32. In the rear, I dropped a total of 3/8", with 1/32" due to the "linkage ratio factor" of the suspension. I didn't measure the fronts before and after, but I believe that I got the same drop as in the rear. The main advantage of caps over springs is that there is no change in ride stiffness. I never re-aligned the car. It handles great and I have not noticed any uneven tire wear.

You could combine them with Eibachs, but I would not recommend it. You would be scraping everything.
