All opinions are welcome. I know some peeps won't like it and that's cool, but I wanted to show it off a bit anyhow. :)

Since you're asking for opinions ......

The grey stripes and grey wheels look absolutely awesome! :2tu: A finishing touch would be to paint or powder coat the gas cap the same color. That's a winning combo and I'd stop right there. The orange pinstripe is overkill and looks as though you had some spare material that you didn't know what to do with so you slapped it on. The pinstripe on the wheel is also overkill. Keep it all grey. Gives it a mean look. Like someone stated earlier, looks like a 70's van conversion.

The headlight overlays look good but makes as much sense as wearing sunglasses at night. If you drive only in the day time, during dry weather then no big deal.

Congrats on a great looking paint job!

I really like the gunmetal stripes on the red, very original and not too in your face. However Im sorry but those orange stripes are terrible. It totally brings down the value of the car. The ones on the side look like they belong on an old mustang. Your trying to hard, stick with just the stripes.

I appreciate the fact that you've taken your car in a new direction. It's also refreshing to see someone mature enough to handle a bit of constructive criticism. I also agree with the consensus - remove the orange side stripes above sills. Whatever you decide, thanks for sharing...

lose the side stripes, and even the wheel stripes. Its unique enough without going overboard. Just glad you were smart enough to do it with pin stripe tape, instead of having it painted in :)

Oh and in the end its your car, so do what you want. But I think if you are trying to appeal to the majority, you would be better off to dump the side stripes and even the wheel stripes.

O.K. Guys, take another look. I pulled the stripes off the sides, and put on the Viper GTS side emblems (they were removed for painting). I also reduced the size of the orange stripes down the middle of the car. Now the orange is just a little accent instead of a major player. Ties in the lip of the rims and gives the red a little pop when it meets the dark stripes.

MUCH BETTER !!!

HELL even black viper emblems would have worked well, or even grey/charcole ones. Sheet, matter of fact, I still have a set, that match those stripes pretty damn good.

Still not a fan of the orange wheel highlights, but its a lot more tone down with the side stripes removed, so i can deal with it :)

Much better!!! Very tactful and clean.

The emblems are more then enough to spice up the
profile and you could always paint them the same
colour as the stripes to offset the red.

Awesome looking car! I dunno about most of you but the first thing that came into my head was the PPG viper Pacecar from a few years back. I can't find of picture of it though.

Ok.Good start. Now get rid of the pin stripes along the black stripes. The gawdaful wheel stripes. And if your goal is to look tasteful, clean, not ricer or kamaroish, childish, then get rid of the black stripes too. GTS Bruce

Looks great. I liked the little thicker orange strips down the whole car like you had it, but still looks great. Much better without the side strips.

I dig the blue/grey but you lose me with the orange.
It's your world though. ;)

Great.. I just spit my coffee out on my desk as I was laughing at this "uncle bens" car. Holy crap that is nasty!!

MacManInfi, I think your viper looks really good. Congrats! Don't listen to them, it looks nothing like that vette.

Much better! :2tu:

A bit different then everyone else, and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Black side emblems might be the finishing touch! :D

Much better, but leave it at that. (if you must)

Just say "No" to more doo-dads on the outside (or maybe even the inside) of the car.

- Saw a late model Vette at a mall last weekend in Toledo that the owner gone bezerk on with chrome tail light trim, chrome side marker light trim, etc.

Just never seems to work does it?
