I bumped the thread for the original install. On my 1996 RT, I used the yellow/gray wire in the black plug (you should have white, gray and black plugs)... it is cavity A1 according to my service manual.
Pull the Black plug.... hold it with the two "inside" grooves on the top facing you.. you...
Re: NEW Shiftlight Installation (Pics) - Anyone Interested in Group Buy?
Use these instructions on your 1996 RT... it worked for my 1996 RT when I installed the Raptor light.

Hmmmm.. being an internet forum I cannot admit what my 1996 RT has, or does not have.... suffice to say... if I did not have CATs... and did have 3" Corsa with the small mufflers in back... it would sound GREAT..... and pass emissions in TWO different states........ I "imagine" with the set up...
Dang... I thought for sure that Miata listed in your sig had to be the wife's or girlfriend's car............... :buttkick:
But seriously... with all this talk about the "10K mark"... I guess I shouldn't worry any more about approaching 50K.... and by all accounts (Chuck)... I'll be safe for...

So James Bell... did you ever complete your conversion??? Jay is your's complete??
I am back to considering this project.. as I really do love my 1996 RT... but I am now daily driving the Viper again and I am leaning towards the Gen 2............
I found doors for $1,000 each......
Re: Cheap RT/10 for someone who doesn\'t mind...............
I agree that the Viper engine should be good for six-digit mileage...easily.. However... any vehicle's resale value drops considerably at the 100K mark....... and the closer to that mark.....
In the case of a Viper... the folks...
I had a great response typed... and my modem crashed! GRRRR...
