Thanks ACR, that pretty much answered my questions. My idea was, when I get the Gen V, to build a nasty NA engine for it. I would have liked to save the stock engine and build a second engine for it. So my idea was to take a gen IV engine and build it and put it in the Gen V, but it looks like...
I'm looking to purchase a Gen V and build a really nasty NA engine. I was wondering if there is any major differences between the Gen IV and Gen V engines? Specifically the the short block? My idea is to keep the original Gen V engine stock and to get a Gen IV short block to modify with pistons...
I was wondering what the difference is between the Gen 5 and Gen 4 engine? Is the block and heads and stuff the same just with the internals being different? Is the architecture the same or are they two totally different designs?
Ok, then the flip side is, they should mandate that they do not discount below MSRP, even if they are leftovers. Who cares if the market is flooded with them...MSRP it is!!!! Do you see how crazy that is? I'm sure you are all for the dealer losing their a*s to sell you a car, but not with them...
Exactly, he said in an earlier post he would sell it to a private party for 75K, well over what KBB or NADA say they are worth, and those numbers are usually high as you indicated. I just find it funny he's so mad at a dealership "screwing" him, when all the while he's trying to do the same thing.

I just realized something. You're upset that the dealership is charging 20k over MSRP. Yet YOU are asking 19k over KBB value and 14k over NADA value for your Vette. Kinda hypocritical don't ya think???
Ok, this may start an "aries bashing", but oh well. I know it seems like price gouging and what not, but when these same dealers had leftover Vipers they were selling at cost or below, not to mention they have to pay floor plan interest on these cars and I'm sure many of them lost money just to...
Hey guys, I'm reposting this thread because I wasn't sure on the date. I know it's short notice but oh well, this Sunday the 14th. Here's my original post:
"Hey guys I just did an awsome cruise with the Exotic Car Specialist this past Sunday and had a blast. We met in Winchester VA and did...
I'm not expert but I've heard that when you stroke those motors by welding and regrinding the stock cranks, they break. That's why I have a moldex crank in my car to avoid that. Also, I had an AEM system on my car but had to go away from it. It just didn't have the computing power to handle a...
Hey guys I just did an awsome cruise with the Exotic Car Specialist this past Sunday and had a blast. We met in Winchester VA and did about a 100 mile cruise all through some really, REALLY nice backroads. I think we were on the freeway for a total of about 5 miles!! The rest was farm and forest...
