Received 7 ribbed belt from Sean but no 8lb pulleys in stock at this point. Ran some street pulls with the 2.5" blower pulley and saw 14lbs on the boost gauge. AFR looked good, ambient air temp was 56 degrees. Power under the curve seemed stronger. Will get on the dyno when the weather warms...
Just got off the phone with Sean who recently did a car with the Weaver crank pulley. The car made about 11.5lbs of boost with the Weaver crank pulley, an 8lb blower pulley and the small idler pulley that you use with the 10lb system. Sean has custom 2500 seven rib belts made to work with this...
Regarding timing. I recently started using the Roe software and have accumulated several VEC 2 programs from other Viper owners. Some of these owners have very similar if not identical set ups and I have noticed that the timing could not be more different between cars. On some the RPM timing...
I have these, mirror polished stainless steel. Holes shown allow mounting without removing exhaust. You can add holes to your taste if you remove the rear pipes.
They made two different models of this kart, one as on Ebay had the 3.5hp motor and a deluxe version that had a 6hp motor with electric start. I added the nitrous on my deluxe version. They are a slick complement to a 96 GTS.
For sure. It should lean out the tune which might just be the ticket as I'm running a bit rich with the 50/50 water mix I recently started using. Do you have one and if not why not?
I bought one today and should have it on by next week. I'm hoping it will blow the pickles out of my Belangers and free up some RWHP.
Joseph, thanks for all the info the other day, I'll report on my results as soon as I get it on the dyno.
Good luck trying to beat Jesus, if the devil couldn't do it what chance do you think you have? At the risk of being struck by lightning, that Supra sounds like a dying patient on a respirator. It's the only reason I could never go turbos, they sound like ass.
I was at 696 rwhp before I went to the 50/50 mix so you are looking for a free meal for 4 rwhp? :bonker: I do believe your comments are accurate and will likely go with the retune. How is your Roe tune in terms of numbers? When the methanol kits were introduced there wasn't much discussion...
Mark, Based on what you said here it is likely that increasing my meth percentage richened my AFR and cost me some rwhp. I guess I need to either add timing or go back to the lighter mix. Thanks
Yes I'm running a larger fuel pump but I didn't realize that the methanol would change the AFR significantly going from the zero degree washer fluid to the 50/50 mix. What are you running for mix?
