    Security system in Viper???????????

    Lock the door and wait for the security lamp to go from fast flash to slow flash, then try to start the car from inside with the doors shut, locked, and alarm set. The engine will not start. You are probably starting the car before the alarm actually sets.

    The lamp flash routine does not show if you start the engine, simply key the ignition to "Run", and don't start the engine. If you start the engine, the light will go out completely and you won't be able to check readiness.

    SRT Oil Capacity?

    I think the difference comes from wether you have a bone dry oil system or if you are doing a drain and fill. On a drain and fill (and filter), you'll only need 10 quarts. If you also drain the oil cooler (heat exchanger and lines) you'll need that 11th quart.
