Todd,
There is logic to what you say. Perhaps one of those rollover plates that has a ridge at either end (used to position a car in a tight garage) would be optimal.....
Though I use the handbrake all the time, including through winter storage, I do make sure the car is dry, i.e. I don't wash and then immediately store. Second I do not leave the shifter in gear all winter. The rubber boot underneath the leather boot hold a set and will push the shifter a bit...
The reverse lock out in GENII's at least, is energized to allow reverse selection and de-energized to prevent, therefore when the car is off, reverse is locked out. With ignition on, and no movement, it's powered and allows reverse selection.
Just got back from the Party and as always it was a great event. Thanks to Debbie for organizing the best one yet!
(and I would have said that even if I didn't clean up on the gift exchange)

1996 / 97 cast exhaust manifolds flow the same as later stock tubular stainless manifolds. I dynoed 0.5 HP less with no other changes but the SS manifolds. Only benefit is the before mentioned weight savings.
Your HP increase isn't less...
Why is the factory recommended Castrol Syntorque (Mopar Synthetic Transmission Lube @ $20 / qt.) not good enough? Seems odd to me that so many are switching off factory fill when the risks of incompatibility are so great....
Though the gasket is certainly designed to be reused, I have found damage to the area around the oil channel every time it's been removed, in fact enough damage that I was not comfortable reusing. Not uncomfortable about leaks, but concerned that since it was in the suction channel area it...
How much are stock replacement rotors?
I just bought a complete Mopar brake kit for my '02 minivan from my local Chrysler dealer: Mopar pads, rotors and all hardware, all in one heavy box for about $130.00. Not even worth resurfacing for that price....
Maybe there's an equivelant Viper kit?
The issue mainly occured in the early GENII's that had smaller oil pans.
MY2000 and up had the full 10 qt. pan that effectively negates the issue. Further protection can be had by adding baffles to your existing pan. Stage II would be a oil accumulator and finally the ultimate solution, a dry...

If you have an air compressor, a Vacula fluid evacuator is a wonderful product. Easy drain of diff and power steering tank, plus does a great job bleeding clutch and brakes. Worth every penny.
Mopar fluids are fine. I see no reason to risk incompatibility with syncros and posi clutches...
If you've done proper coolant changes along the way and are experiencing no overheat / above normal temps, I'd stick with the traditional. If you notice that your temps are fluctuating abnormally (going higher or lower than normal giving conditions before dropping or increasing) your thermostat...
Absolutely. My opinion is based on oil analysis on every change and back to back dyno runs. OEM and FRAM had significantly less silicon than when I ran K&N's, in fact 60% less. That says to me (and the oil analyst) K&N's don't filter as well.
Dynowise, K&N's pulled 11HP over OEM...
Agree with Gerald completely.... Doesn't bother me at all
When I interview job candiates I frequently ask what type of car they own. No wrong answer, just another piece of the puzzle.
Why not just use Techron?

Combustion Chamber Deposits
Both gasoline and deposit control additives can contribute to the formation of combustion chamber deposits (CCD). The degree of contribution depends on the composition of either or both. CCD buildup...
The corrosion is caused by water held against the inner sill by the early style heat insulation. It's metal on the cat side only, raw water absorbing moisture on the inside. Later shielding (which replacement sills are equipped with) have insulation that is full metal jacketed.
The older...
