My state farm agent told me I was covered at the drag strip.
The way I understood was as long as it is not expresly stated as not being covered in your policy, then you are covered.
He did of course strongly recommend I NOT go racing.
It's probally cause his friend removed the air filters.
But seriously, I usually just hear about really bad brake fad.
But I am not talking from experience so I need to be quite. :)
Re: Add T&D\'s and lost 20RWHP!?!? WTF!!!
No, actually that is where I usually dyno. They were at two different dyno's.
I know they dyno was not off as my friend saw the power increase you'd expect from the mods he made
Re: Add T&D\'s and lost 20RWHP!?!? WTF!!!
Yeah, I don't think it was the filters. I was just really pissed about the poor dyno and was using my friend suggestion to pull the filters as a scapegoat I guess.
I felt so bad about blaming my friend that I apologized to him! :)
Re: Add T&D\'s and lost 20RWHP!?!? WTF!!!
OK to reset the Mopar computer I need to take it out, put the factory computer back in and then swap back the Mopar?
Do I run the car with the factory ECU in it? I am confused.

Re: Add T&D\'s and lost 20RWHP!?!? WTF!!!

The changes from the first dyno were: chrome tubes, T&D's...
Add T&D\'s and lost 20RWHP!?!? WTF!!!
I just dyno'd yesterday and had a horrible experience. I had dyno'd before my T&D's at 422 and 465. I dyno'd yesterday at like 405. I just ran the track the night before and ran my best time ever at 12.26 at 117.5.
The first dyno was with with a...
Went to Ennis Friday night at the Texas Motorplex. Only got two runs in for the first time down the strip in my ACR.
First had a Z06 that made sure he lined up against me. Obvioulsy he was modded and wanted to have a Viper Kill under his belt.
his time 12.842 at 111.06, my ACR 12.523 at...
OK, I just did the progressive quote for my 2002 Avalanche, 2002 Lincoln LSE and 2000 ACR
State Farm 6 months: $1,691.80, Progressive: $2,210.50 (and actually not as good of coverage as my State Farm)
State Farm has been really good to me so far. They did however drop my parents after 30...
Don't ban the Yellow Vipers! I have so much fun beating them as they are SO MUCH slower than the Black and Silver ACR's. ;)
