Why is it used with flux-core?! Not even that thick of a frame maybe 10ga tubing at the biggest :dunno: and you can still make the flux-core look good. I have done mostly MIG but very little flux-core. And if you can't even use a scraper, 6" air grinder would be used. And that anti-corrosoin...
Anyway, I'm not going to ask about the "who made it" but as me for welding Experience which I also do for living. I'm pretty upset the quality on the frame of my 06 coupe. At a job I used to work for before a huge layoff happened, I would have gotten yelled at. The weld wasn't the greatest, BB's...

You should also add what kind of condition of weather that day was and elevation. I'm not stock so I can't post my times here. But like at my track it was 700feet elevation.
I hope I'm wrong too. Just heard that northern WI getting at least a 1" of snow by this weekend. If weather nice, I might actually take a swing up there to watch you guys. My Viper is done for the year its getting put away most likely friday or saturday.
I had trouble sleeping that night because of a horriable hang over from a Wedding lol then at the same time excited. Probably 4hrs of sleep. I was wide awake :D:drive:
Are you kidding me?! I live near Milwaukee and we suppose to hit some snow flurries this coming sunday. I wouldn't doubt a high of 40 by end of the week. The weather been bad here lately.
haha It made me wonder why AEM so expensive for the Vipers. I think that is a cool to use...which they did that on the S2000 because it was pain in the ass to fit the ecu.
Now, you say AEM was or is POS. As for software, the unit itself, or serial connection to OBD2? I loved everything about...
Well as for the part # he asked, its just a simple cable. I never put a AEM in my Viper but I have put one in my old 05 Honda S2000 turboed. Out of the few other AEM EVO, Supra, and STI they all used a regular serial port. Unless the AEM for the Viper transfer signal through OBDII. You are right...
Go to best buy and get one that is serial to USB. If you have a newer laptop you won't be able to use that cable from AEM. Think its $40 from best buy.
Have a little thought about this, my buddy has a Honda s2000 that does have a Paxton on it but smaller, of course. He went air to air and lost ALOT of boost! Changed the pulley and barely brings it up. It has been leak tested etc. It did keep the IAT down but doesn't proved as much HP as when he...
I got 23,000 on my factory tires and still have enough on the front ones so kept those when I got my Kumho's. Still have the factory rear brakes I took it to the track just last monday. Clutch works fantastic still and my rotors looks still fairly new. Just broke over 36,000 last monday :D...
No those will not work. I don't know why they even listed the 03 and up. You can only get them directly through the dealer. Got mine this spring and $34 a piece thats after they gave me a 10% discount lol. I might need another replacement for next year...these ones worn out or just plain suck.
A/C = without it, we would fry in the car
PS = Not everyone is HULK to turn those 275 on a dead stop
ABS = Required by Law
PW = When driving, its easier to push a button once then crank a handle which probably make you crash at 30mph
PDL = Isn't the Viper cleaner look with out a key...
Yeah, that was a sad moment but glad both of them were okay. Saw the whole thing. was on the east part of the 3rd turn watching. Probably could have gotten more footage of some of you but my tape for some reason wasn't working well. I kept it in just figured who we had to deal with on the track...
