    Ralph in Automobile magazine

utahviper hits the nail on the head. The Mac is amazing because they are able to transfer the power to the road so well. Sure, more power is aways cool, but what good is it if you can't leverage it.

    Ralph in Automobile magazine

Ralph and Co had $X dollars to spend on the project, they spent it where they got the most bang for the buck. Building the engine out to have >700HP would have been a significant investment and chewed up a lot of that cash, IMHO. So, they invested where the greatest ROI is.

Dash and rear cameras with aero spoiler

Bruce, I am out and about today with my car, so I'll post some videos of day driving up. I view dash cams more of a cowitness when things go bad. Perhaps someone running a red light, etc. I think most are questionable at best for capturing plates, luckily most record audio so you could simply...

    Magazines Shipped

Re: still no magazines yet If I take money from my customers and don't deliver, I don't tell them to stop complaining or get upset when they "complain" or tell them to stop complaining. I haven't mentioned anything about the club since my membership lapsed. But, a convenient way to divert.

    Magazines Shipped

Re: still no magazines yet Strange to me that the "previous administration" keeps being blamed for things, when the "current administration" is comprised mostly of the "previous" - I mean, Dan, you were national treasurer for the "previous administration." You can only blame people that came...

TA selling well, soon to be selling out...and it's no surprise why

The point is the ACR is an even bigger niche for a niche vehicle. A Vert would help a lot at this point.

TA selling well, soon to be selling out...and it's no surprise why

Yeah. That big seller the ACR, a whole 250 units a year. Will change everything!

You know something that really truly does suck about the Gen V?

I'd say the miscreant that would do such a thing, pop your hood and mess with the engine bay - won't be watching C&D videos on the Viper. If they do watch those videos, my assumption would be they have some respect for vehicles The fact is, if someone is going to mess with your car (perhaps...

So? I guess I don't see why it matters. Will always be something better.

TA selling well, soon to be selling out...and it's no surprise why

The TA isn't really that much different than the SRT/GTS, I think it is a great marketing ploy in the end. I think if the SRT and GTS at Laguna had aero it would have been a lot closer.

You know something that really truly does suck about the Gen V?

I do all the time, there are plenty of people racking up lots of miles on the car. But, I do live in a pretty affluent area, so $100k cars are chump change around here. I am not really concerned with anyone messing with it. When I go back home to MD to visit my parents, I'll admit I keep it in...

TA selling well, soon to be selling out...and it's no surprise why

yes, but most 911 are custom orders, not cars collecting dust on dealer lots. Being able to option out is great, the problem is dealers deciding what to order. If I am dropping over $100k, I want exactly what I want, or a deep discount

TA selling well, soon to be selling out...and it's no surprise why

I think the TA sold so well, mainly because there was one single configuration. Most people buying $100k+ cars will want to specify the options they want. A dealer "predicating" what someone wants dropping $140k on the car, well, ain't going to work IMHO. Where the TA, is a 3 color option car...

You know something that really truly does suck about the Gen V?

It worried me a bit at first. I drive mine everywhere, I'll park it at malls, go to movies, target, etc. Someone popping the hood has become the last thing I worry myself over. You can configure SMS as well to be sent to you when someone pops the hood, but obviously won't work in a underground...

You know something that really truly does suck about the Gen V?

Been like that forever in Vipers. You benefit from the fact no one knows you can open a Viper hood from the outside. It would be nice if when you locked the doors, it locked the hood from opening.

Scratched Viper idea and going with a C7 Z06

I am not a fan of the attention the car gets. One of the things that drew me to the car was the fact you just don't see them - I wanted something you don't see on the road everyday, but it is a trade off because it does get looks, pictures, attention.
