From things I've read, decent local shops can replicate it.
The issue is, oddly, local shops are too good at normal paint jobs - they must introduce orange peel into the paint to match it. (I've heard that BMW teaches its repair shops how to introduce orange peel into their repair jobs - true...
I guess posting on rennlist about 1/4 mile times in the TTS gets redundant after awhile

I mean, don't get me wrong - I love the turbo S and if all goes well this year might buy one - but to constantly blab how fast your turbo S is, where anyone can buy one and run the same times as you - is just nothing to be proud of IMHO. Tony hitting 10's through skill is impressive. Letting a...
Even though 9 out of 10 posts by you are about owning a 991 turbo S, no one cares you have a turbo S that a high school girl could run 10's in her first time sitting in the car.

If you think the Viper needs ceramic brakes, well go buy them. Complaining you won't buy one because it doesn't have "X" part you can buy in the aftermarket is just pointless jibber jabber. Shows you aren't really in the market.
Look below you, if the Viper offered ceramic brakes, someone would find something else to complain about.
People complain of the Price of the viper at the cost of an optioned out GTS still, but in reality you can find one for well under $100k
Just boring yammering by people who are just into...

I generally slouch a bit so I can get better visibility

I'd be curious to know which ZR1 it was - is is the one with the new tires on it that did well at Laguna? If it is the one with the old rubber, I think SRT will be fine.
But, I hope it gets SRT in gear to crank out the ACR - come on Ralph!
Really what SRT needs is better tires. i don't think...
