Car and Driver Lightning Lap Issue

The issue with the Viper is (and why it doesn't fair well in the rags) - is people are afraid to push it.

    Least Expensive Gen 5?

IMHO prices will stabilize next year. I think the car is picking up speed as car as sales go.

RSI Twin Turbo 1250 Gen 5 SRT Viper Heading to Idaho| RacingSolutions.com

The biggest cost factor is the R&D is spread across so few units. Corvettes these mods are dirt cheap - because they will build as many C7's this year as Vipers have ever been built.

    Ralph wants/needs an automatic

"Viper Guys" aren't buying the current Gen V and they bought the Gen IV in very limited quantities. So, even with what everyone considers the "marvel" the Gen IV to be, people weren't writing checks. It was still pretty true to the "heritage" you speak of. Personally, I think the Viper needs...

I don't understand what people donating money to Wounded Warriors had to do with the VCA - why it was official communication from the club

    The Elephant in the room

Is there anything in the agreement between the VCA and member regions that stipulate funds must be returned in the region leaves the VCA? I cannot find anything that says so.

    The Elephant in the room

The only counterpoint is if there is an agreement already in place with the clubs that states if the club leaves national then the money must be returned. Other than that, what standing does the VCA have to demand money back? "Because" - not a decent threshold for cause.

    The Elephant in the room

This is what the VCA is worried about now? Jesus you guys were moving forward with that last QA email, now this? Get real. Unless the national office had terms to deal with this in the bylaws that money must be returned there is no grounds for anything. For a lawyer, you'd think bob would...

Observations about the VCA - this is good

The QA email should have been sent out long ago without the "PDF" long ago. Was what was needed. Will it help - who knows.

Has anyone verified this guy's information? Video Motortrend Channel

While the SLS maynot be the Viper exactly you can't park the SLS next to the Viper and not see how similar they are. What other long nosed car like the Viper has debuted in the last 10-20 years?

Has anyone verified this guy's information? Video Motortrend Channel

This video has been beat to death when it was posted months ago. Johnny cries that the Viper is too loud, has bad gas milage, gets hot, etc It is a V10 with side pipes yawn

    Told ya...

I love people who compare sales from the 90s to today. There has never been such stiff competition in the market for high performance cars, ever. The car is better than ever, faster than ever, but so is everyone else as well. Get with the times.

Owner feedback...seat support and comfort after break-in

The seat "holds" you rather well. I haven't had any issues doing ~120mile road trips in it. It is very comfortable. Longer than that you may run into annoyances. The TA may be a bit more sensitive due to the shocks and all. But, I love the seats.
