Doubtful. I just hope it holds value as well as other Vipers have. Not many cars can be 16yo and worth half what you paid for it.

Sadly, I've seen plenty of threads, including the "PDF" from the VCA slamming the VOA, and many attempts to discredit it on the VCA forums.

Many high end vehicles are [mostly] custom ordered. how many buy 911's fresh off a lot compared to ordering? Ferrari the same way, Lambo as well.
SRTs biggest fumble was not getting custom orders for people with cash in hand out the door first.
I group them in with the ACR owners, Gen IV owners as a whole.
The Gen V is fast as hell and already set the record at Laguna, I am not sure what people want from it performance wise.

I think the only real issue (which you hit on) was the fact that the Gen V wasn't a big enough upgrade from the Gen IV ACR. It wasn't enough to make the guys with the Gen IV ACR's run out and trade their cars in.
