Although your target buyer is the high roller that might be at a B-J auction; I think that the likelihood of him being at any specific one of their auctions at the same time as your car is there is low. I don't think that you would like the odds, if they were calculable.
Did they put headers on when they did the Paxton? A typical cause for a blown ASD fuse is the insulation on the wires to an O2 sensor getting melted and causing a short. Here is a typical post: http://www.viperclub.org/vca/threads/asd-fuse-blown-at-laguna-today.641464/
I see no issues with this new software on my desktop and google chrome. Looks like those that implemented it did an excellent job, and there will often be bugs to work through with a new application.
I just saw your facebook post. Probably Michael S. is going to be the least expensive unless you wait and find an individual parting out a Gen 1 Viper themselves. Sometimes you will see such things posted on one of the Viper FB pages or one of the 3 major forums or eBay. Good luck !
A lot of money for sure. I am not familiar with the early heater box. Is the top removable or is it glued or possibly plastic welded/fused to the lower part? I very much doubt that the upper part is available separately. It does not show up in the parts list as a separately available part...
They happen to have a listing on eBay now, referencing that part number. At least if you talk to them, you can see if it looks like the same part as what you need. https://www.ebay.com/itm/DODGE-VIPER-HEAER-PLENUM-INTAKE-GEN1-NON-AC-1992-1993-4642798/382146294750
So, you are calling me a buffoon because I thought someone copied your $129,000 eBay auction ad and posted the exact same photos at $200,000 with a different seller name? This happening after the jokers on Viper Alley went goofy with your post there? It sure looked like something that one of...
You have one of the most experienced Viper Techs in the country, in your state; but, maybe not conveniently close: http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/670313-Viper-service-in-North-Carolina
I went with something other than stock, at someone's recommendation. I did not like where the clutch engagement point was with the aftermarket parts. I did get used to it, though. This is one of the "risks" of going away from stock clutch/flywheel parts to consider.
No reason to take it to a dealership for AC work unless they are specifically the guys that you trust with the car. There is nothing unusual about the AC system in the Viper other than it fits under a hood that I would be concerned about a novice opening and shutting. (whether at a dealership...
I just checked. I think that it is a 15amp fuse in #14 slot & labeled maybe something like "Rear 02 Sensor to Heater Relay". Reverse lock-out and ship shift solenoids are also tied into that circuit.
If that were the cause I think that you would have engine codes, though.
I would check the fuse first and then the connector at the solenoid and also the connector on the harness (C300 in picture) since either could possibly have been hit when they were messing with the exhaust.
Not common from the standpoint of people mentioning it on the forums. I can not recall anyone saying anything about it. My best guess is that the brake reservoir cap fell off and brake fluid blew back onto the booster. Brake fluid will remove paint, and then the metal corrodes if not treated...
The user name and location listing on eBay at the ultra high price is a different one than the one that originally listed it asking MSRP. I suspect it is just a joker making fun of the owner thinking that a Viper could be a car that does not plummet in value
Lots of posts about this issue on the web. The 2013 and 2014 cars which were subject to the r28 recall (not all were) should have an extended factory powertrain warranty to 10 years. Otherwise, buy the 8 year Chrysler extended warranty.
Like Steve said, it is best to buy one from an auto parts store counter man who knows how to choose a part without having to enter vehicle information into the computer. And then, be able to take it back if your measurement is one size off.
You can google search for 7 rib 79 inch serpentine...
From your description of one of several wires moving, it sounds like you may have an aftermarket end on your battery cable if you are talking about a loose connection between the wire and the connector, rather than a loose connection between the connector and the battery post. (I can't remember...
Just on a side note, I assume that you meant AGM which is the typical alternative to a flooded battery. I would be surprised if it were a gel cell battery which is a different type. https://www.optimabatteries.com/en-us/experience/2013/12/what-difference-between-agm-and-gel-batteries Note...
