First Viper picture EVER from OUTER SPACE!

Someone give me a cookie. As far as I know, I'm the first with a picture of a Viper from Outer space. See it! My Silver/Blue 1998 GTS. The image isn't the greatest, but from satellite it's pretty amazing IMO. If I continue to zoom it becomes really fuzzy. No doubt that's my car, parked right...

    2008 Viper Pic

This car is rumored to weigh 200 pounds less than the current model, making it about 3180-3200 pounds. About the same weight as the Z06 (50 pounds more). With sticky tires, 600HP, 560 Torque, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out - bye, bye Z06. Vipers usually experience around 12%...

Are we all stupid? (including me!)

No doubt the Gen I/II are going to be worth a fortune some day.... The looks, the rarity, the V10, the looks, the 488 cubes, the looks.... Did I mention the looks? On a side note, was the Viper the first production car to have a V10? I can't think of any others, but I'm not an expert on...

    Priciest speeding tickets.........

This list is complete and utter BS. In PA, the average speeding ticket will cost you about $125 to $175++. This includes all the taxes and other BS stuff you HAVE to pay. Therefore, I and everyone else considers this the cost of the ticket. In Ohio it is about the same.

Changing fluids other than oil.....Need Advice (Viper Wizard or Anyone)

1.) So there is no need to open the bleed screw on the clutch slave cylinder? 2.) I assume during pumping, the old fluid in the lines will surface/mix with new, hence the repeating twice or thrice. Correct? Thanks in advance. I need to change my clutch fluid.

    Viper Test Drive experience

What baffles me is how many complaints you have about the car, especially with those complaints referring to daily drivability (which is your intended use). BUT then you make an offer to buy? Perhaps my doctorate is in 'Common Sense' because I would like to make the diagnosis of Bi-polar...

Will the '08 be introduced at NAIAS (Detroit) this January?

Re: Will the \'08 be introduced at NAIAS (Detroit) this January? Nice. That alone will make the show worth going to.... I just hope DC puts the spotlight on the car, instead of hiding it in a corner. I have yet to be impressed with the Viper display (gone to show since 2001), compared to the...

W Finches garage makes it to bmw board

Not only that, but don't they own X5's? SUV's? Oh yeah, those are on my wish list :bonker: Beemers are nice cars, but 'today' I agree they are overrated and overpriced for most models. Not to mention there dependability is suspect. And the design has been lack luster ever since Bangle...

    Swirl Prevention ?

Are you serious? I've always wanted to try a waterless system, but been afraid. What if you get caught in the rain or your Viper gets a bit more dirty than simple dust? You still only use this stuff? More details please....

    Those of you with Eibachs...

Not to change the subject, BUT DAM :headbang: , look at the shape of the Gen II. I've owned mine for nearly 5 years, and still feel like a '5 year old looking at his new Hotwheels car' when seeing the Viper. I get all giddy. Still the best/meanest/sexiest looking car on the road, IMO.

Heres my new ride and what I came from.

I appreciate the C6 Z06 for the stock performance, but it just seems 'the more I read' 'the more I read' about rear end problems, clutches burning/fried, and other drivetrain problems. Then there's the whole defeating the safety sh*t programmed into the computer (torque management, etc...)...

Time to get the car washed!

Nothing special in that video. -Wash with quality products with nuetral PH where needed. Only use wash mitts/towels that will not create swirls (ie - quality microfiber). -Clay the car to remove imbedded polutants. -Level clearcoat and remove swirls with a rotary and compound. -Hit...

    F355 vs SRT 10

Geez. In Pittsburgh you are king with a Viper. Even one 8 years old (most people think it's new). People look at you like you're Donald Trump. Seriously.... You just don't see Ferrari's/Lambo's/SLR's driving around here. I think I've only seen 1 Lambo on the road - EVER! Maybe 4-5...

    F355 vs SRT 10

I dreamed of owning a 355 as well, and contemplated buying one someday. But after reading many post about ownership, it seems better left a dream. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how low '06 Vipers (especially Verts) can be purchased for. I'll let others chime in on that matter...

    For those that are catless.

OK. My situation in this. I was running catless for a while, and liked the sound and decrease in heat (interior + sills). But I couldn't stand the exhaust smell. What I didn't realize (at that point) was my vents in the trunk area were out of place, allowing the exhaust gases to be sucked...
