When they changed the engine did they replace the oil cooler and lines as well?If not then you stand the chance of failing the new engine due to debris in the old cooler.Easy enough to pull the valve cover to check for a bent push rod.If is a lifter you have to pull the head to change. Not a easy...
You need to look at your oil cooler lines. With that ground not hooked up it will ground through the oil cooler lines and melt them from the inside out.May cause a oil leak.
Have you check the clutch switch?Would be a easy place to start.Kinda hard to unplug. You can put a jumper wire across the connector on the wiring harnes side and see what happens.
The dealer I work for is on the list.We have had so may calls from customers as to what they are supposed to do.The local news reported we were closing. We will stay open as a used car store and continue to service our customers. The bad part is they will have to deal the store that chrysler is...
Check the fuel pump relay in the PDC in the trunk on the drivers side of the trunk.I have had this happen to a car at the track. Car would run fine them start cutting up was checked several times at the track and nothing. The car finally cut off on the highway.I removed the cover and the relay...
I have somethings in the works. If all goes well I'll still be here working on the cars. The dealer is not shutting the doors just wont be a Dodge store any longer.Lots of phone calls today .This may be the push Ive needed for years to get out on my own we will see.
Great looking car but looking at the pictures it looks like you need to call Jon and order a set of tires. The ones on the car look like MXX3's which may have loads of tread but are hard as a rock which equals a ill handling car.Put a new set of PS2 on that baby and enjoy the ride.
My local chief of police was looking at this car about 2 weeks ago.The owner claims to be on a ship in the persian gulf and the car in a shipping container ready to ship from NJ I think shipping allready prepaid.needless to say I dont have a new car coming to town.
Spoke with Todd at Arrow the other day and he said the stock mopar filter is the best for the car.It has different specs than the wix filter. So for once OEM is the best way to go.Yea I missed the header with the year in it
YOu will end up needing to change Hood Hinge Lift Assist pivots between the hinge and the frame.Part numbers 4709074 4709075.About $135.00 a side. They bind up over time if you oil them they have a chance to not hold at all. Very easy to replace just a extra set of hands. You dont have to remove...
Thats what im here for. If you havent replace the batery before I would look into putting one in .What happened is a typical low voltage issue.Confuses the PCM untill it has enough power to run the car and relearn the PCM.
After the battery dies it take the IAC sometime to relearn. If you hold the engine RPMs up it will relearn and should be ok.If it was a alarm issue the engine would still cut off even while holding the gas pedal.
Look at your o2 sensor wiring and make sure its not touching a header. Have seen this before drivers side below and a little back from the power steering pump. is a good area to check first.and if the o2 wires are still straped to the engine mountslook at them as well.
I cant say for sure with the new owners of viper days. But oin the past if you were a new student in the green or blue run group I would install roll hoops in place of the stock pieces. They are made from 1 3/4 .125 wall roll bar tubing. The insurance company allowed them to be use on the track.If...
You do have to raise the engine.I put a set on a ACR this weekend and it took me about 5 hours to do the full balanger system.I found it easier to raise the engine and remove the starter after that its a piece of cake.
They usually leak on the drivers side of the timing cover about half way up the cover.I think your safe to say its not a head gasket.the only other thing to keep in mind is that the bearings dont like antifreeze. So depending on how many miles are on the car it might be wise to replace the rod...
