The length of the bolt not including the head is 3.5 inches.Bolt Dia is 7/16. Do you have the correct cones that fit between the shock and the mounting point? If not let me know I have 2 sets
If you were installing this on a Ram 3500 you would be just fine. But then again your viper is so slow I think my 3500 Ram would be your car.:lmao:
McCann is working on the car and doing set up and track support for the owner who lives in Kentucky. The car was raced in the VRL at one time. Now doing more regional events.
The new engine was nothing fancy so dont read anything into it. Was able to help the Dodge boys work on it Thursday night. Its not the gen 5 Engine
The Viper ACR AR is a Archer Racing Edition car. Built by Archer Racing.
I think part of the problem is the upstop for the window wears and starts allowing the window to go up higher than normal so it just needs the relearn to gets it memory back.
Doug if your going to have me do the install then it will be belangers. And we could do either the Corsa of Belanger cat back. Easier to install I feel.
One things to remember when pulling the trans do not let it hang on the input shaft while pulling it out. And when reinstalling if you are changing the clutch make sure the clutch is lined up perfectly. The trans should slide right up to the bell housing with very little effort. If you force it...
If you have only removed 7 bolts from the trans to bell housing your missing 1. There are 8 bolts holding them together.Thetop one on thecpassenger side is a blast to get to.
Did you unbolt the trans from the bell housing? Or are you trying to pull the trans and bell housing together?
You must remove the 8 bolts that hold the trans to the bell housing first, remove the trans then unbolt the bell housing rotate it 90 degrees then you can drop it out.
SO Chad what is the guy in the second picture doing:lmao: Making sure your depends are on correctly so the next guy who gets in the car will have a clean seat.
Tom,
Your absolutely correct, but since getting the =BAD BOYZZ SERIES= headers factory installed which proved to be the better header, I just wanted to address this most important component (Clutch) for any Race or Street Viper.
I invite you, all ACRX Race Teams and Gen 4 owners to run one...
