Just thought i would post a few pics of my experience doing the TN10 race in my daily driver Viper.
For those who do not know, the targa newfoundland is a 5 day balls out rally on paved closed public roads. Iron Man if you will.(Dodge CEO Ralph Gilles has competed 3 times to date in chrysler...
I actually bought the car from a friend last summer and never really got to use it other then install new tires and then park it.
Now that im getting it ready for this summer i have been lerking around the forum for tips.
So far i learned where the door locks are located, and that a yellow top...
was his wife hot? should have looked at her and motioned "call me" with a smirk and a smile and drove off. :)
anybody who rifles off at other drivers is a douche bag. i mean, really, who does that to that level??
these radical colors maybe a little "boy racer" for some.
however these colors will be the cars sought after by collectors.
i love them.
every viper collector should own one subtle color daily driver and one radical color ACR for show or track! :)
i have raced alot of targa newfoundland events along side of Ralph and his Mopar one off creations.
i hope he brings a ACR to the targa 2010!
great guy and great driver.
im located in newfoundland. we have a handful of vipers including my 2005 convert.
couple of red 1993
one green 1995
one grey 2000
2002 ACR RED
2002 ACR YELLOW
2005 copperhead
couple of red 2003 convert
couple of 1996 blue GTS
one 1996 white rt/10
one 2006 white convrt
and one 2010 ACR (enroute)
the 2010 ACR has shorter 5th gear, better down force and less drag. Will beat the GT2RS on the ring.
the 2009 ACR is great too, especially if you will never notice the difference in gearing compared to 2010.
dont expect prices to drop soon on either model years as these things are no longer...
New to the Viper world and the forum.
2005 black srt10 ragtop.
needless to say i will be keeping this car forever since they will no longer be made.
I have been a big fan of the 1st generation vipers and that being said i really love the SRT generation too.
