    its good to hear that you got to the root of the problem. Now my question for the rest of the guys is: is it ok to get rid of the heatshields all together and run without them? Are removal of the heat shields a simple compress and pull?

    I didnt mind the parking lot driving or revving. Got a chance to hear the beast. However, it was pretty obvious that the camera was sped up going through the twisties. I would love to see the real time video of the twisties, it would be better then the sped up version.

    Plumcrazy - the idea was to show him how my new 3.54 gear setup pulls but he wasn't expecting the power output to be that much over his ACR which in itself is a sick car!! Shine - I am putting out 660rwhp as per the most recent dyno, still on the paxton box tune.

    I am a Viper Purist but I can see that the new Viper has to change.

    The lack of technology and ownership of the driving experience is one that led me to pull the trigger on my Viper vs a Z06. I hope for the "purist" sake, there will always be cars for the true driving enthusiasts.

    SRT exhausts?

    I have experience with no muffler exhaust (sounds like a harley) and belanger exhaust with high flow cats. Deeper tone, but docile at low RPM. Definitely good sound when at WOT.

    2013 Viper "Track Key"

    I remember issues with warranty with the Nissan GTR in "Launch Control" mode. I would rather me be the catalyst that gets the custom tune rather then a venom key.

    Im contemplating getting one as a daily driver. Good for for my son and looks very civilized. 25mpg from a hemi is not too shabby. I just am not sold on the body.
