Pic Request: Roe Racing Front Air Dam (link inside)

Depends what you want it for. If for looks the Eurotech splitter is great looking. I think I still have one in the basement off my 06 I'd let go cheap. If you want to track your car, don't bother with the ones that bolt to the bumper. They will pull out sooner or later, go ACR OEM. The ACR...

    3:54 in Gen IV?

One more thing you can compare circumferences of the tires by multiplying the diameter by pie (3.14159). For a 345 30 19 the circumference is 27.15*3.14159=85.29 inches. This is the distance the tire will travel for one revolution. Different diameter tires travel a different distance for one...

    3:54 in Gen IV?

Look up the tire on TireRack they have the specs including the diameter of the tire. Or you could just do the math. The first number is tire tread width in mm. The second number is the profile (the height of the tire from the ground to the rim) represented as a percent of width. Last number...

Pic Request: Roe Racing Front Air Dam (link inside)

Just wondering why the plate that says "V10 SUX"? Seems like a strange plate for a Viper. Also I've seen a Eurotech splitter pull out of the front bumper at high speed (read at Daytona on the high banking). Pulled all the bolts right through. Clearly more cosmetic than practical.

    08 Hood

You'll also need the under hood pad, I'm pretty sure the Gen 3 and Gen 4 pads are different. I bought my Gen 4 hood used (OEM hoods were in short supply at the time) and it came with the pad. Gen 4 hoods are waaaay cooler than the Gen 3 hoods, literally. They help extract more heat from...

Am I the only one one who see similarities????

The Volado design is still the closest thing to what I think I saw at VOI 11. That other thing is freaking hideous.

Do you know how the turnout was attached? Is it easily removed or is it a permanent addition?

Need some emergency emergency brake help

Look at the last picture. You will see the edge of the rotor in the center of the caliper. There is a pin that runs left to right in the picture through the center of the caliper. It goes through the "ears" on the brake pads. There is a spring clip at either end of the pin that you can see in...

Viper dies when I come to a stop. AFTER i just did tune up :(

Funny, I had the exact same issue on my 2007 Saleen. Yea, I know its not a Viper. Car started and ran fine. When I lifted off the gas to slow for a toll or a light the RPMs would drop really low and the car would stall or at best just barely keep running. Car did not do it when new it...

    Got a 2004 with a problem

Evap test is a pain in the butt. Follow Garron's post above. Had the same problem with my 06. Drove over 1000 miles and the test still did not run. As stated gas tank must be between 15 and 85% and ambient temp at least at a certain temp. Also has something to do with engine temps and other...

    Help!!!! Emissions Issue?

Please be sure to post the info that Glenn gives on Viper Techs. Does Glenn trust his brother to work on a Viper?

    Help!!!! Emissions Issue?

According to the excellent Viper Tech I had in Massachusetts the real differences between a Viper Tech and regular Tech are: 1) Viper Techs tend to be the most experienced Techs. They went for Viper training only after they were already good mechanics. 2) The dealership had to buy Viper...

    Help!!!! Emissions Issue?

Jim Johnson told me that Brandon still has a Viper tech although not of the same quality as Glenn. Is that not true? I do have to get both my cars in for a warranty recharge of the A/C system. I suppose any tech could handle this but a good Viper tech also knows how to treat the car (with...

    Help!!!! Emissions Issue?

I would vote for the hi flow cats or a sluggish O2 as the cause of the problem. If your friend has a real time data acquisition tool have him check the voltages on the O2s with the engine running to see if one is sluggish or not reading somewhat similar to the other. One other solution, set up...

    Dr. Colorchip

Never had that problem with my kit. Left the color on for an hour or more and the solvent took the residual right off with minimal pressure. Again I've had great results but I've only used it for those really tiny nicks as I've fortunately not had any big ones. Don't know if it would...

    Laguna Seca Sound Limti

Is there any easy way to reduce the sound level from the side exhaust? I've seen those cone things but they somehow need to be secured in the pipe, not something I would want to do. Why doesn't someone make some kind of deflector that points the exhaust down and that easily attaches? Some...

My car is so fast that it turns completely blue as I approach the finish line. :headbang:

Even based on your twisted Physics :nono: blue is faster than yellow. :2tu:

    How rare are these?

You yellow guys really don't give up. One more time... In classical physics, where the speeds of source and the receiver relative to the medium are lower than the velocity of waves in the medium, the relationship between observed frequency f and emitted frequency f0 is given by:[3] f...
