Those with 3.55 gears I have a question

Only caveat is if you are tracking your car...3.55's could mean 4-5 shifting instead of running the track in 3-4. I'd much rather make the 4-3 downshift than the 5-4. Agreed, though, that 3.55's bring the Viper alive on the street and at the drags...

    Another performance brake pad question

I upgraded my '08 to Stoptech rotors, Brakeman #3 pads and S.S. lines (all from JonB who is very helpful and knowledgable) and the difference over stock on the track is remarkable and worth the extra bucks...then back to EBC reds for the street since they are less $$ and are much cleaner...

My 99 GTS ACR with LPE 542 stroker is for sale.

Very respectable thing to do in not selling the car...years ago I sold a highly mod'ed Corvette to a young man with all the advice, warning, pleading, and cajolling I could muster to try to convince him to take it easy and learn to drive the car...two weeks later he totalled the car and killed...

Do we know much about the short-throw shifter that the 2010 ACR has?

I too agree...The MGW shifter assy w/knob is a great upgrade and should be the first mod to be made...It was a huge improvement in shifting on my '08...No more missed shifts!!

    Jon PartsRack

JonB for parts and Tom Sessions (Wilmington, NC) as mechanic/tuner...what a great combination! We ordered all the parts for my '08 from Jon and Tom installed everything (Belanger system, Mopar PCM, MGW shifter, etc., etc.), then delivered the car to Charleston, SC and we went directly to the...

    MGW shifter question

I had the poly motor/trans mounts installed in my '08 along with the MGW ass'y...vibration was noticable for the first few hundred miles but settled down considerably. As for the shifter, it is a great improvement over stock; shifts are "cleaner and crisper" and feel solid plus no more missed...

    It still amazes me :)

Glad to hear the good comments about Ringgold since it is within reasonable driving distance...However, there has been no mention of their service...can they handle performance mods such as exhaust, shifters, Mopar controllers as well as routine service in and out of warranty? Thanks for any...

Required safety equipment for VCA events

In order to participate in VCA organized track or drag events, does VCA issue a checklist of suggested/mandated car and driver safety equipment (helmets, fire ext., seat belts/harnesses, etc.)? Also, what about car inspection on day of event (steering, brakes, tires, etc.)?

    Traffic cameras

Have any of our members had actual, factual, first- hand experience with plate covers or sprays to foil traffic cameras? There is a lot of misinformation and lots of outrageous claims being made...Does anything actually work?
