    Whistle/Whining Sound

    I also have a whistling sound but only when driving slow maybe 5mph or so like in my driveway or through a parking lot. I had the viper dealer look at it and he said it was the e brake and it could be glazed or something but could still come back.

    Thanks Illsmoq, I think your an expert since your running a paxton everyday and you've installed them. I've read alot of your posts. I definatly don't want a boost gauge showing me bar readings. These are the two gauges I'm gearing for, this is showing boost not bar right? What do you think...

    '08 Weight Reduction

    After reading about those voltphreak nanophosphate batteries I don't know if they'd be good for everyday use, probably only for race cars. And you'd probably need at least the $700 one which is the most expensive battery I've ever seen...

    Really theyre all so close you should go with the one that you really like. If you do get the black one, put red stripes on it, it really stands out! And will be more noticed than the red one. :)

    Ok so with ps2s we want to raise pressure to like 32-34psi cold for the track, have about 29 psi cold for everyday street driving, and lower it to about 25 psi cold for the drag strip. That sound about right?

    Has anybody bought universal windshield A pillar gauges and retro fit them to the viper a frame? Anybody seen some they think might work that are made for a different car? Since nobody makes them for the viper :(

    Well I dont know that I would be watching the a/f gauge every second anyways, I dont think anybody could. But its better to have it than not!

    Yea but it seems several people have replaced the volt meter with a/f or boost gauge : I don't know if I want one there though, being that low. I'm leaning more towards a dual pod above the steering wheel or the suction cup mounts by the A pillar. Viper D said his suction cup mounts never...

    Yes thats the exact air fuel ratio digital gauge I want, except I think a white face, along with the AEM digital boost gauge. I think I might have the dual pods mounted on the above the speedo.

    Got my paxton supercharger ordered today from Woodhouse, they're going to be picking up the car in the next week or two! Really excited! I'm going to have an air/fuel gauge and boost gauge. I'm thinking about having the air/fuel gauge mounted like below and I guess the boost gauge mounted above...
