Man I'm very very sorry to hear about your loss. I shed a tear for you.
A bit of advice from a friend, (for future reference) if you want to race every sports car or muscle car that pulls up next to you, you yourself are going to end up wrecking a car someday. You nor I really wanna see that...
Or you could buy a RTTT's 900hp ACR for over $2000 LESS. Double the horsepower for less money... ACR, Paxton supercharged NOS = 802rwhp - ViperClub Classifieds So no I would say that stock ACR is way overpriced...
My opinion is keep your 3.07 and swap out 5th , or 5th and 6th, although 6th wont be used for the mile run. Supercharged cars are a handle to keep traction in 1st and you probably wouldnt want to up that gear, sometimes 2nd gear to. Swap out 5th and your 14 seconds faster as the 09s are...
It says on the website he doesnt know the hp but it might be worth spending $75 to get it as every single buyer will want to know how much horsepower it has...
1. Do you have line lock?
2. How do you like the A6's for drag tires?
3. Did you drive to the strip with your A6's already on or did you bolt them on there / how are they on the street?
4. I need to get a set of rear tires for the strip do you recommend them?
5. What psi are you running them...
When I bought my current viper it darted from side to side, it turned out that the dealer who put new tires on didnt have the rims and tires balance properly and it made it really bad. I got an alignment and it only helped a little. It wasnt until I had the tires and rims balanced with new...
I think you should put that list in order of power, and if tie for power then torque as tie breaker. Its a little crazy without being sorted. This way people can see what combo makes the most power etc.
Thanks! No I drive it daily in the summertime when not raining. No garage queen here! I've only been to the strip once with it and had serious tration problems, I think I have that fixed this year, so yet to be determined :)
I think we get tired of a measly 10 horsepower from mods that cost $1,000+ Headers for a gen 3 are a waste of time as in they're not worth the price for very little power. The only big gain is in supercharging or twin turbos with supercharging being much more affordable and reliable.
yea don't take offense to it. I'd bet if you walked into 10 dealerships 9 out of 10 would charge you that or more because its a viper and its a stealership, err dealership! You have to really shop around with a viper for special prices as Steve-Indy said above.
lol here is a link to it on ebay: Dodge : Viper : eBay Motors (item 260574774788 end time Mar-31-10 10:44:36 PDT)
" This exquisite car is completely stock as far as the original motor and drive train and will exceed your every expectation. It has a custom Pioneer SuperTunerIII GPS, FM/AM...
Wait if you bought all the fluids and filters and brought them to the dealer. They charged you $545 for 3 -4 hours which is $136 to $181 per hour to change fluids? That seems outrageous. I dont know any dealer that charges $181 per hour...
