FJuGor comparison. A site member stated they raced a gt500 (don't remember year) in his stock gen 1 and the gt500 beat him by 1/2 to 1 full car. I forget what speed the pulls started and finished. I believe the gt500 was stock as well.
I think the cool down for 30mins will net your best results. any longer then 45 and the engine gets to cold in my opinion nor would I want to do redline pulls on a cold engine.
And dont forgot, power under the curve is where it counts.

yeah high 20s. And 400 hrs., good one, sounds like he's counting every hr the car was out of his possession. Must of unassembled and reassembled the entire car.
How much you wanna spend for end result?
96-99 gts would be the cheaper route. Anything over 900rwhp I think is a toss up as you'd have to rebuild the gts or set engine for reliable power.
Ucould always buy one with the work already done. Peobably cheapest route.

Well it depends on the car and how's it's making power NA or FI or a shot and where power is made.
Your likely to get a mix of answers as some will say it's not point to shift when the power is declining or then others will say just because it's not making peak power doesn't mean you shouldn't...
Do as plum said or use the stock cats and cut the secondary. I had Random Tech hi flows and a supercharged paxton and they lasted 6k miles. had them removed and got roes hi flows. Mixed feelings on the sound (B & B full exhaust), especially under 3k rpms.

Does the viper stores codes? My other car does and the dealer can pull up old codes from years ago. Might want to check into that but for same reason I think i remember hearing the viper doesnt but chuck tator would know.
