Bob gave you a single example(among many) for a reason to have an auto. Thats it. Its no more of a "selling point" than any other car that comes with a manual and auto.
The point of you post, unless im reading it wrong, was that the viper was made in America by Americans. Soo, that would make the Tundra very American to right? Or does the amount of robotic work decide what is American made?

Looks are subjective, performance is not.
When the argument falls to a personal preference, its in the same category as the HP/liter argument ricers resort to.
after doing a bit of research, it seems 550rwhp would be a easily attainable number with the other typical bolt-ons(intake/exhaust..etc). Valve springs seem to be the only needed change.
