    Buying A New RT/10

Plum I do agree with you. Being a buyers market it is not hard to find a solid, mid miles viper, with newER tires than the factory 10+ year olds. As I mentioned aside from something breaking, the costs are slightly higher than say a corvette, mustang, etc. Taking into account the OP age...

Where do the long ones go???

I checked my illustrated upgrade which was for a Gen II and by my best bet I am pretty sure they go in the front. That's where the weight is. :usa:

    Buying A New RT/10

Why do you say that? Aside from modifications I can say 100% I have spent less than $3k in maintainance costs in three years and that includes replacing a transmission. If nothing breaks the only maintainace is tires, fluids, and brake pads. :nono: Dont discourage the noobs. Teach them. :usa:

    Buying A New RT/10

A garage is not necessary but that is a personal preference thing. Theoretically you can drive it anytime you want. Maintainance costs vary. There are a plethera of sources here on the VCA to get parts. The cost comes into play when you go to a dealer. If you are mechanically inclined you...

ACR going to be in a photo shoot - need to make it look nice :)

:omg: Dont use anything but auto wash on your car! To bring out the shine you are talking about you really would need to get down with an orbital at least with a swirl remover if not a cut compound also. That process could cost you either time or money. There is no other way to remove the...

    **Transmission/ Driveline Clunk>**

If you are even slightly mechanically inclined you and a buddy can replace all three mounts. Like Dave, I'd bet my peso's that the motor mounts are shot dead. :usa:

Will these wheels fit my Viper?

ACR going to be in a photo shoot - need to make it look nice :)

I am sure you breezed through a bunch of the detailing/buffing threads; there have been a ton lately. Simplest suggestion I have is wash, clay, wax. The reason for this is the wash will remove most of the surface dirt. The clay process will remove the stubborn bedded dirt from the clear coat...

    **Transmission/ Driveline Clunk>**

+1 The mounts are likely the cause of the clunk and you will feel better shifts by changing the motor mounts as well. :usa:
