Overall Ride Quality -- Gen I vs Gen II
My '01 GTS is more comfortable on the road than my '05 Avalnace (fully loaded) and my wife's '09 Cadillac CTS. My Viper isn't a cushy ride, but it's very solid and more fun per mile than anything I've ever driven. And, for what it's worth, I'm WELL past my mid-life crisis thing ... well, some...- Bird325

Adam's detailing for Dummies
I used blue painters tape on all the emblems and rubber/vinyl trim. Didn't bother with the lights or seams as I wanted to work the paint right up the edges. I removed the tape after waxing and did the touch-up waxing by hand. I'm still really happy with the results after a number of foam...- Bird325

Custom viper seen near SEMA

Gen 2 Hood Louvers in Classifieds
For those of you that haven't seen Dave's car in a while, the louvers aren't WHITE any more!:omg: I think Dave is just getting a little settled in his ways and setting his car up to be a little more classy rather than flashy. Looks much better with the red louvers.:rolaugh:- Bird325

Sagging pockets
My '01 has sagging head liner pockets. Finally upgraded the GTS - self installed it too!
Personnally, I llike having a place to put a drink when you're on the road for many hours. Sometimes, having the caffiene an arm's reach away comes in handy. Doesn't mean I want a holder there ALL the time, but I think that cup holder is a temporary 'slide in' between the seat and the console...- Bird325
