Anyone use Mopar brake bleeder?
The Service Manual lists a Mopar pressure bleeder part number along with a Viper specific reservoir cap part number, Miller Tools. Help - anyone make a n AFTERMARKET Gen. 1 soft top ...
Why spend the $$ on another softtop when they work like crap and are a pain to fit? Invest the $$ in the 3 piece hardtop that fits in the trunk. The guy advertises in our Michigan VCA newsletter and everyone has good things to say about his product.- 95Viper

Dennis, Not true regarding what your Viper Tech is saying. The tube's purpose is to vent air from the reservoir while keeping the cap from turning. It also assists in stopping fluid "spray" which occurs on the OEM cap because it raises the height excess fluid needs to travel up before making...- 95Viper

Viper won't idle!! Any tricks?
Re: Viper won\'t idle!! Any tricks? Also, clean the IAC. Easy to do, maybe 30 minute job really taking your time. Remove from passenger throttle body, remove hose and insert in airbox, remove two screws and take IAC in half....clean everything with sensor safe cleaner.- 95Viper

Side pod burning,
Depends on your year. Early ones had the shield and insulation rivited together but we all know about the corrosion issues that caused. Later ones were glued with a high temp rtv or silicone type. If you have cats in, you'll continually run into the problem, remove or go with high...- 95Viper

1993 Head Gasket?
Easy...old ones looks sort of brownish or greenish paper and new ones are a 3 layer metal design...impossible not to see the difference.- 95Viper

Removing a side exhaust cover on a 96 RT/10
Use two credit cards under the plastic caps to squeeze together and remove. Once screws are removed, use plyers or screwdriver and hammer or whatever to flatten the holes. Then dab a qtip of por15 on the holes. Buy the new grey screws if you have an old one with the black ones, the grey ones...- 95Viper

Is it necessary to keep the same diameter on a H pipe?
The H pipe balances pressure, doesn't really act as a primary path for exhaust to flow. Is there any reason why it couldn't be something like 1" in a 2.5" exhaust if it was placed before cat?- 95Viper

Chad, More airflow equals more hp. The K/N filters work fine if you remove the clips (when the car is warm, don't do it when cold and snap the plastic tab on the box or you will be screwed) lay them flat, tap them with a hammer to lenghten them just a tad, not flat, works perfect.
