I have been watching that thread. 70rwhp is still a very healthy increase in power, but I think most of us who have seen that kit expected less than spectacular results without a cam change.
That guy in the silver car was very elated with the VCA Dyno day. Great folks, great cars, and some very rad dyno pulls ;). Trophy arrived yesterday too.
No benefit.
You only change the injectors if your fuel needs exceed their volumetric capacity. In other words, if your injector duty cycle is is over 80% during max power, then you may consider larger injectors or simply bump up the fuel pressure. There is no power to be made unless one of...
Those do look awesome. At the last Texas Mile event, the ART 1800 car was sporting a very similar style of rotor. They were Brembos and had that "C" insignia on them.
The ACR-X aluminum hat is smaller since the rotor disk area is bigger. How much heavier are they than the ACRs? I am sure...
Great job Steve. I would not want to hide my charge piping and BOVs, but that air filter sure does a great job of hiding the goods. Its all incognito until those turbos start spooling up :omg:
Wait. What? You want 900-1000 lb-ft of torque and only 550-620 hp, and you are trying to get there with cam only????? The only way that's going to happen is with a turbo diesel that never sees anything past 3500 rpm. I would be shocked the day I see those numbers in a gasoline engine that's...
You can get a similar catch can bracket from a company called CSR. There are several vendors who carry it, and I am sure one of our viper vendors could get it too. Part No. 651C
JackB, shoot me a PM with your email address. I can send you the Excel sheet that will allow you to change most parameters (wheel size, trans gearing, final gear, etc.)
Not trying to defend Twister or his mechanic, but the service manual explicitly states anti-seize and 250 ft-lbs. Can't really blame them if the service manuals haven't been updated.
Locktite? Can you provide a source Andy? The manual states that "anti-seize" be used and bolt tightened to 250 ft-lbs. Quite the opposite, but I recall reading threads on loose Gen III damper bolts.
So which one is it?
Re: What Is The Lightest Streetable Clutch Available for Use with an Aluminum Flywhee
Thanks for the clarification. I was just a bit surprised since nothing in the transmission plays a part in the open/close loops. I can see how the reduced inertia could cause idle hang and other drivability...
Re: What Is The Lightest Streetable Clutch Available for Use with an Aluminum Flywhee
Not to deviate from the OP's original question, but why would you need to re-tune after clutch/gear changes? Is it because 03/04s have the rear crankshaft position sensor? I am suspecting its due to the...

Re: Nearly a 10 In My Mildy Modified 06 Viper - 11.19 @123.80 - A Heartbreaker Read
Speedfreak, we have a "similar" setup. I have ARH and A&C tune, stock everything else; cat back, pulley, intake, etc. I agree that you may be losing a bit on the top end when compared to my runs. While our...
I watched Twisters video and realized that his setup has the valve cover spacers. I am sure that the extra 1" in height creates challenges that some of use have not seen.
I too removed nothing and still managed to removed valve covers and intake manifold. However, I do agree with Mark. I removed the cowl and reinstall was significantly easier.
