I have had the Vipair height adjustable suspension for about a year and half.
The pros are the same as those with any height adjustable setup. These include height adjustable for aesthetics, lower CG, and some corner balancing capability. The cons are a stiffer ride, and a questionable...
Great numbers Twister. 68whp is a nice gain from your bolt-on setup. Overall, it appears that your the cam and bolt-ons is good for 80-90whp over stock. I wonder if full length headers will get you another 10-15whp???
Thanks for the informative posts. Now post some graphs. I want to see...
3ft won't be enough.
For my Gen III, the lengths of my recently built AN oil cooler lines are 16.5" and 22.5" (I added 1" from the OEM line length just in case). The 90 degree fittings add an extra 1" or 2", but of course don't count as line length. Anyway, my total for both hoses is 39"...
On a Gen III, you can very easily go catless and still keep the OEM PCM happy. No check engine light and all emissions readiness o/k (meaning you will pass OBDII emissions type test). No simulators or Mopar ECU needed. PM me and I will reply with a solution and my paypal address ;)
Thanks for very detailed post Twister. When you do get Sean's tune, please do post dyno curves if possible. I am curious to see what the mid-range curves look like.
Thanks for the updates Twister. Did you do the five angle valve job, or just cam/springs? Even if just cam/springs, that appears to be a really quick job. Can't wait for the dyno. :eater:
That car sounds great Atppilot. That idle is rockin'. Thanks for posting specs on the cam differences. Based on the I/E durations, I would guess that the Roe 710 would make power further up on the powerband versus the Comp Grind.
I may have missed it, but have you posted a dyno chart? I am...
Sorry kdaviper, but I can assure you that the PD 5.8 will have a significantly flatter torque curve than any NA engine. It will also make more torque down low. Its just the nature of positive displacement blowers.
Thanks Twister. Royal Purple Raceway is almost at sea level, but it was so damn hot. The temperatures have cooled down now and I could probably get better numbers, but that is a strick NHRA track. I know I will get booted, but I may still go and try to get some good 1/8 times.
Your power and E.T. goals seem easily achievable. On my Gen III, 500whp did get me an 11.5 on very hot Texas summer day on street tires. My trap was a tick under 126mph. You will need a power adder or some heads/cam to get you that 130mph trap.
FROG is doing an 11.3 with alot less than...
