Are we hearing drum rolls already??????
Well, these guys below are claiming a 7:15.6 (LFA is 7:14.6). They claim to have some type of inside information.

Its bad when your own Viper Headerquarters has incorrect info about the Viper. 335s on the rear, in addition to another couple of editorial mistakes. Really????? I guess its time to change my user name.
Thanks for taking the time for the documentary. You honest opinions are greatly appreciated. As for the coupling of the pipes, couldn't a band-clamp have worked easier/quicker/stronger ?????
Tony, very good runs on both your Zed and your Viper. However, I was very surprised with ACR's mods and time. Never knew folks were working Gen IV heads and modding variable cams 3 years ago :omg:
Twister, you last run is very close to what my 500whp/525wtq did about 1 month ago in this scorching Texas heat. I ran a tick quicker (11.51) and a bit faster (125.3). We ran a similar 60ft and 1/8 times, but I was running a 1mph faster by the 1/8 (98.8mph).
Good runs none the less.
By muffler, I mean just the muffler (resonator). The headers are different between Gen III/IV. Post muffler, the Gen IV just has the turnout pipe, while the Gen III has the cross-over with H-pipe.
The 2.5" exhaust muffler on the Gen IV is identical to the Gen III, except for the crossover. It as been shown on multiple occasions that cat-back don't gain any power over the OEM mufflers. There are several Gen III/IV 600whp+ NA running on stock mufflers. As a matter of fact, Dipapa is...
Holy $hit. $400-$1600 for registration is crazy. I never knew how blessed we are here in Texas; $65 for cars (i.e. Viper), and $75 for trucks (i.e my SUV).
That situation could have been catastrophic. My advise would be to upgrade to stainless/nylon braided lines with the proper AN fittings. Its not cheap, but worth every penny.
Yeah, but S2000s make 75 ft-lbs of torque at 2500rpm, and my viper makes 500 ft-lbs at the same rpm. It could still be a bit dangerous, that's all I am saying.
Great news on the 2013 trannsmission, but I am bit perplexed about the gearing. Is the 2013 identical to the 2010 revised gear version, or am I missing something?
