nah, never an Issue.. Done many Lexus, Hondas and 3000gt's that way! Although the Viper bolt could be much tighter.- daveg

When doing timing belts, I lock the breaker bar against the frame and click the starter. Breaks the harmonic balance bolt lose every time.- daveg

How much better are the 01-02 ABS brakes
I live in the north-east and drive 100 miles a day in snow / rain etc in a 3000gt with no ABS... If I don't need it in that car, I certainly don't need it in my 96 B/W. As stated before, first year GTS, B/W color, forged motor, lumpy cam, stripes through plate, possibly collector in the future...- daveg

Yes, if you are not happy with those imperfections and they are noticeable, they should be taken car of to your satisfaction. If that requires paint work.. ^^^ agree with Bill on Forged if you don't plan on taxing your motor with heavy mods.. Since your leaving it stock, the cream-puff motor is still a great bullet proof engine!- daveg

I would rather have a 96/97.. Forged motor trumps ABS (plus it has the cool B/W color). Don't care about ABS, I don't even drive my car in the rain.- daveg

Take timing cover off and look at timing!!! I would not stick another rebuilt head on that thing until you straighten away your issue!!! Obviously....- daveg
