Wow!!! Now that's a heck of a request.......unless you can find an "insider" from the design group. That would be one huge file if it has not already been converted. The proper term is Stereolithography.
Also consider warranty options. Be ready to accept the pitfalls you may experience (from a financial perspective) with a heavily modded car. An extended warranty from Chrysler and an expected engine repair from a Dodge facility will not be an option. So in other words, if you're the plain and...
Or you can simply attach the pigtail harness supplied with the Battery Tender to the battery terminals and connect it to the leads through the rear fascia.
As Dan said, use a drill with the correct torx bit and you shouldn't have any problems. If you're constantly pulling off the panel to change out batteries, then the main focus should be purchasing and installing a battery that will last..
Man, you beat me to it.......I was getting ready to let 'ole fancy pants have one but I'd rather act "professionally" and keep my comments to myself. On the other hand, if that person feels as if he/she fits this shoe, I would be more than happy to continue the discussion via PM.
B.S. The car was legally obtained as evidenced by the clear title (so they say) and the title was legally conveyed to you as the owner. Therefore, the car cannot be legally repossessed from you as long as all of your documentation (Bill of Sale, etc.) is in order. Your issue lies with whomever...
The 2004 uses the same hood therefore, it uses the same OE hood pad (it is called the Silencer in the parts list) on the 2003 through 2006 model years. The OE part number is 04865684AB. The '08 - '10 uses a different hood pad (because the hood is different).
Not responsible for any damages while the car is left in their possession? What dumbass told you that (and I hope that person is reading this post)? They would get ripped by a judge in civil court if they tried to use that in their defense. They will be found liable for the damages...
Painting isn't necessarily the issue. The issue is the layout (masking) to make sure that the lines are straight, even, and the stripe widths are to your satisfaction. Any shop that does custom paintwork should be able to lay out the stripes. Some body shops actually sub out this step to a...
I wouldn't say it's an easy out for Dodge. If someone brought in a vehicle for warranty work and discovered the most likely cause was due to a lack of lubrication (extremely low oil level) then the owner admits to performing his own oil change, there's 99.99% chance the claim will be rejected...
I hate to say it but you're basically "SOL" unless you can determine and prove you have a leak. You should focus your energy on that instead of fighting with the dealership (for now).
So once again I have to ask, what caused your car to lose 5 quarts?
As someone has mentioned, insure it for the maximum allowed. If there is a total loss, you would recoup the actual replacement cost (market value or the true cost of buying another Viper similar to yours) plus a little extra. Remember that values listed in KBB and NADA are based on average...
The spark plug(s) would be pretty fouled up if the car had burned that much oil. Your "saving grace" in this situation would be to hopefully find a leak. If no leak is found, they are going to probably stick with blaming you (if you in fact did the last oil change yourself) for underfilling...
Most of the the valve issues on 2003's were corrected prior to the cars leaving CAAP. The 2004's up to the Jan. 2004 build date (if I can recall correctly) may have had the crank bolt tightening/torque issue. The TSB list the specific time frame (build dates) that were affected. The 2005's...
I'd say about $39k max due to the very low miles. Non special edition red and black Vipers (no special editions in '03) demand no extra premiums as far as price goes. Use the online sites such as Autotrader, Cars.com, Ebay, and the VCA classifieds in your negotiation.
They are torx head screws. Buy the correct size/number torx bit and attach it to a powerdrill. Makes loosening and tightening much easier and faster. The '02 (Gen. II) battery mounting configuration is totally different from the Gen. III/IV. The '06 should be the same.
