    How well does it work? It works as designed and intended. The positive connection directly to the battery terminal and the negative to the 10mm screw that's near the battery holder on the frame.

    Not true. The only way he'd be liable is if he knowingly sold a tire that was deemed defective by the manufacturer and recognized as such by the Transportation Safety Admin.

    Well, at least the cost of a new regulator has come down significantly over the past year or so. I still can't believe Dodge made folks pay $1100 for a new still poorly designed (the plastic tube part), flimsy window regulator. The new one is supposedly a better design.

    The BCM (Body Control Module) controls the action of window lowering and door release. If it's not the BCM, then you have the dreaded window regulator issue which is quite common on Gen III/IV Vipers. Do a thread search on window regulators and you'll learn all you need to know.

    $42k is the going price for a 2004 with a clean title and comparable mileage. I would say $31k tops.

    My point is no dealership or car manufacturer is going to hand over the part for "free" and then leave it up to you to complete the labor on a safety recall. They don't care if you don't mind assuming the liability but they definitely won't assume by having a non-authorized Dodge repair...

    No, it is not pre-mixed. I suggest you take the car back to the dealership and make them re-do it. If they refuse, contact the Chrysler regional rep and file a complaint.

    Tires are somewhat like medication. They are probably ok to use shortly after the expiration date but as time goes on, they start to lose their effectiveness........ Rubber compounds tend to harden over time.
