You have done all the great driver mods that really make the car more enjoyable to own and drive.
I think we have messaged about coilovers - feel free to DM me here - but the standard BC rates are a good setup for street use. Very similar to G2 ACR suspension.
Falling on its face at 5k is...
If you do not have an extended bleeder hose installed, the lazy way works fine for cleaning up the fluid.
Get a baster.
su[c]k all fluid out of reservoir.
Wipe down reservoir with rag/microfiber/shop towel.
Fill with new fluid & put cap on.
Pump clutch a bunch of times.
Repeat 2+ times.
GEN 2 do consume coolant (at least my 4 have) which I assume is from the non-sealed design of the upper tank. You might just be low on coolant and this is your first notice of it.
Take cap off and fill upper tank with water until it overflows. Start car. Stand there keeping the upper tank full...
Unless the X section is a larger diameter than the rest of the exhaust to offset the reduction in flow, the car is loosing power by necking down the pipe. X-pipes are used for sound.
Pop off relay and jump it like you did. Go drive the car. If that fixes it, then you can figure out what is causing the relay to not work (I had that problem with a prior car, but sold before fixing it).

The smooth tubes with the factory ACR bend and clamps are available here:

I recently had a similar vibration. It would occur for a few seconds after on-throttle 4th shift to 6th light throttle. Went over the entire driveline and found the ball joints were bad. I swapped out the upper an lower (complete car) to Howe and so far the vibration is gone.
For the street there really is no wrong option. BC is probably the most common for street use because of the low price and ability to control the ride height independently of the spring preload.
KW has the V5 for the GEN5, but that is $12k (USD) and overkill for the street.
MCS makes a nice...
No video of it.
It was not a dramatic difference in sound on a '96 (cast manifolds) out of the back of the car, but it was noticeable out of the front. So your '99 likely will not make a big difference sound wise with the stock catback, there will be more header ting out of the front. Out of...
