Speed by gear - GTS (creampuff)
I just went to the strip with Jon Bs new Khumos Ecsta XS street tires, I normally use 4th gear out of need hitting rev limiter in 3rd with pilots at Atlanta(alt 1190 Ft) . But with the Khumos lack of slip at launch I was in 3rd & hitiing the limiter just out of the speed traps & was doing...- pdmracing

Stock Stereo clipping-HELP!
what position is the little button on the amp, that makes a big difference too, I put Cerwin vegas in teh doors(components) & Polks in the rears & I played with the switch, It sounds great , but it will clip on some music over 28 in volume- pdmracing

I agree it should be a sticky I have tried the search function many times, it comes up with inane info but hardly what I was looking for, What the latest fluids are.I ve been under a rock for 3 years, so just maybe someone is using something new. When I came back from the 99 VOI In vegas, I did every national park from Vegas to Atlanta. It was definitely a great road trip, The painted desert @ 120 is my kind of national park. My Hood Doesn't Stay Up - What to do?
I had a problem with degreasing the hinges. I did that , went on a trip to roebling rd( a sandy track) it rained on the way & home & I couldnt open the hood. The hinges siezed up , needed lots of spray lithium grease & a few days to get it open! Where do you put the vice grip to hold it open...- pdmracing

Brake Pad Poll What do you like?

New Khumos XS from Parts Rack WOW
Man have you seen these new street Khumos yet? Finally a lower priced alternative for 17 inch gen 1 & 2 owners. Man they look NASTY! NOTHING like in teh pictures online. I hope they go as good as they look. I will have them mounted tommorow & give a report. Found them on Tire rack but...- pdmracing

I just got back from the NHRA Div 2 Bracket finals @ SG MSP 2 weeks ago. Here are some tips: Fast track, 200 ft Alt with a DA around 1000 +- most of the time.
