    Correct me if Im wrong, but if the speed sensor was not connected, how in the world would the computer know mileage anyways? And even if it kicked a code, can't all codes be erased by simply disconnecting the battery?

    Dash lights dimming on and off on my 2004???

    Had same thing happen on my 04. Root cause...Passenger door was not completely closed. Did not trigger an idiot light on dash but lights kept dimming and reading lights on rear view mirror would not turn off. Felt pretty stupid when I finally figured it out.
