ive rebuilt a few transmissions(havent done a viper trans yet) and usually at this point you just have to wiggle the hell out of it, and if that doesnt work ill use a slide hammer as a last resort.
before i got the viper all my money went into my mustang and the gf was livid about it. "you say your broke and yet you put all your money into your damn car. what about me?" needless to say she didnt last much longer after that. now i have the mustang and the viper :2tu:
im not quite sure how tunes that get rid of rear 02s work but i know in normal conditions the computer compares the upstream and downstream readings to determine cat efficiency. so a bad upstream can set a cat code under normal conditions. so if the tune emulates the rear 02s it is entirely...
haha these are all great. i have another one from my last car show. someone said "look it has speakers in the hood!" as he points to the heat vents. (wasnt a little kid either)
idk about for a viper but my mcleod twin disk in my mustang is one of the nicest clutches ive ever used. extremely smooth engagement for a clutch that can handle 1200hp and i have nothing but good things to say about it. you would think it was a stock clutch at how light and easy it is to use...
i know that the gen 2 gtsr has completely different suspension components and are actually much wider than a factory gts. does anyone know if you can get those longer control arms and other suspension parts? im tying to basically make a street legal gtsr out of my acr and maybe throw some extra...
tried that and still didnt work. it doesnt feel like its all the way in but it will back up a little bit before it grinds and the reverse light comes on. so i think it is in gear and the gear is just shot
it will go into gear and i will have to hold it there. it will start backing up but then it will just grind as if it popped back out without moving the shifter or as if its just spinning in place.
The 2001 acr we got last year has had problems with reverse from day 1 and now its gotten to the point where its basically unusable. im ready to tear the trans out and get a new reverse gear and check everything else out while its apart. history of the car is filled with abuse and was a track...
the more displacement an engine has and if its n/a the more gains you will see from a properly tuned exhaust. with the large motors these cars have they will benefit more from exhaust work than most other cars. so yes, get those headers on there haha
try slamming gears without letting the clutch back out so you dont grind anything. so like get on it in first and get ready to slam second and see if it goes in but dont let off the clutch. if it has more resistance under load and higher rpms you might be looking at synchros. if it feels about...
